  • Thanks,Great job Dave! This one always chokes me up too. It is one of my favorites!

  • Nice song, nice playing!

  • Very nice. Thanks for a great way to start my morning.

  • Written by John Ylvisaker born 1937. He said that those born 1937 and after had rock and roll in high school and they have a different range of music experience than those earlier. I think he and Martin Luther will go down in Lutheran History as the 2 most prolific contributors to music and lyrics, song and hymn.

  • I first heard this song over the summer at my nephew's christening...BEAUTIFUL!!

  • I love this song. I heard it for the first time Easter Sunday morning. Do you happen to know, or does any one know where I can down load a vocal version of it for my ipod. I can find all kinds of musical versions, but I would like the full meal deal.

    Good job by the way.

  • A quick search at iTunes found a lot of instrumentals, but at least one vocal Jacque Darragh. Keep looking this is a standard that I have on other worship CDs. Thanks for the kind words.

  • where did you get the guitar sheet music from for this song.

  • just made it up... try playing the melody while do the chords of the song.

    Dave

  • Very GOOD! Inspirational!

  • thanks

  • Nice job, very pretty. What key is this in? Where did you find this guitar arrangement or did you just come up with it on your own?

  • I was inspired by a Paul Inglostvad cover, but I would say a few embellishments were mine, and basically I sat down to try to play the melody with the chords and this came out... Dave

BTW... thanks for the nice words.

  • THANK YOU! This was song for my wedding, and the baptisms of all three of my children. I also requested it for my father's funeral. Always makes me tear up in joy and sorrow.

  • Yes... it is a powerful song that has applications from the cradle to the grave. Peace.

    Dave

  • Ha... I've been married happily for 27 years.... but thanks for the nice words.

    Dave
