@Dopp1249 That's because cote had more heart than almost everyone in the NHL. Yeah, he didn't win every fight, but he wasn't scared to fight anyone. Say want you want about him, because you wouldn't be able to live through half the fights he's been involved in.
the only reason cote was bleeding was casue he had stiches ripped open during the fight the 2nd fight was horrible brasher was getttin offf the ice and came back on to fight and all he did was grab him shake him then hit him after he was down
Brashear got him unexpected in round 1 jmiller....you fight til the end anyways in hockey......get a clue........ i tattooed both of them and riley's bout 30lbs. lighter way less reach and the heart of a lion...grrrroar...haha
umm how is he a sore loser? brasher shook his glove at him(universal sign in hockey they wanna fight)i wouldn't even say he lost round two because that was a hugging match and brasher was punching him on top what is he gonna do let him? fuck no he is gonna hit him back... you have bad reasons
now that i look at it, it looked pretty mutual, both threw punches after they were down...so i take back what i said about cote being a sore loser...i don't take back what i say about him not being a great fighter though as philly fans hype him up to be.
When you skate away pouring blood out of your face, I call it a loss for you. Cote's team won the game though, which, long term, is what most people will remember. Too bad too.
Brash , hugging all the way .

Cotes face after the first round was brutal
both his eyes were black, his left eye had stitches under it, and right eye stitches around the eyebrow.
you gotta give it to him that he would fight brashear again after that beatdown

Gotta give it to him? PLEASE. What's the point if he loses so badly every time. He needs to get his ass out of town.
