Xbox 360 cannot actually do real-time weapon change. It takes pre-rendered weapon change and displays it at a fast speed close to real time. Similar to how it cannot output in true 1080p, and instead up-rezzes a 720p image. Xbox is inferior, and if anyone would beg to differ, I can prove otherwise.

What was fun, was playing this thing on my PS2 lol, the macros were set to L1,L2 I think.. its been awile.. AWILE lol. Good times. Considering picking it up again during college, and I encourage you all too also. You know.. I payed 175$ for the HD for my ps2... 30 for the 1st expansion, and the 30 for Aht urgan. But a little after the release of godess, I was just sick or it, and I needed a break.

Its a good game itself, lv 75thief/37 ninja here. But I quit that and moved to WoW, it takes to long to get parties, the whole dependancy of the game relies on the people itself, if theres no people, you wont get far at all. getting a "Party" varies from 30 minutes, to a very long time, hours.

But the truth is Final Fantasy was never designed to be Massively multiplaer, if you base how "hardcore" of an MMO player you are by playing FF you need to play other MMOs then. This isn't ment to be "hardcore" its ment to be an adventure, every quest has a cinema, the goal isn't to level all your characters to 75 and be done, its to explore every bit and detail of story it has to offer.

Even every single job you play has a back story of how that job came into existance. I'm glad it came to the xbox for those who are used to action oriented and FPS games, FFXI will surely create a who new and vivified experience for those who have patience and the will to sit for.. 14 hours like I did on my Thief. haha. Final Fantasy XI is a awesome MMO, Its online only. Its ment for ppl with alot of time to grind and level up after Lv10.

Graphics for the game is incredibly good tho SE could release more hairstyles for ppl that are gettin tired of the same hairstyles. If you own the PC version you can edit the .DAT of your hair to anything you can make or find on the net.

I really enjoyed this game.

The lag for a weapon change depends on where you are...my weapon change looks basically the same on my ps2 in an area as empty as where you were. I would like to see you do a weap change mid-fight in dynamis or besieged with max population.
