@evilunixuser1 It's the 34th St/6th Avenue station for the D, F, N, W, Q trains. If you enter the station by the entrance on the southeast corner of 34th St and 6th Avenue, the space will be just to the right on the other side of the gate.
Dude, I just saw the black fellow today playing at grand central with a drummer and a harmonica player accompanying , they freaking rock, it was amazing to see but sad at the same time. They should be playing at much bigger venue, they deserve it.
I asked a guy how to play some delta blues back in the day...he asked me if i grew up in the delta, i told him yes...he asked me if i played the blues...i told him yes...he said i already knew how too. Aside from that, give the asian kid a break, he has good taste and hes listening, i love seeing this kind of thing. Japanese musicians are kicking our ass these days btw, try hanging with some of those guys in jazz or blues, few can.
Most certianly, come to one of my shows! I'd be glad to see you there. Especially as college students our band needs all the viewers we can! Being from Detroit not only do we talk we make good music!!
Bad sound quality and great music is a weird combination :D

@Ladyluck2806 Or you could go to Mississippi where this stuff is more common.

I played a show on Beale St. with an Asian kid one time. His name was Tada. He sounded great but his style was more jazz than blues.

The name of the musician is Ted Williams, aka Floyd Lee, Jr., and he has toured with Jimmy Reed, Wilson Pickett, and Bo Diddley in the 50s and 60s.
Glad you liked it. I've heard him perform many times and he's wonderful.

Could you tell us who the musician is? TIA
