  • Dang man, I even see a hole in that beam now. That sucks but at least no one shot.

  • 1:25 for ceiling shot

  • most ranges dont allow you to use wolf ammo

  • bahahahahahaa

  • Lol. BAMBAMBAMBAM.

    "What the?"

    *Checks selector*

    "It was on full-auto."

    *Shakes head.*

    "That's not good."

I love your reaction. Classic wtf moment.

  • He was being safe. Thats why no one got shot. Its an honest mistake, could have happened to anyone. Thats why the muzzle is pointed in a SAFE direction.

  • This is why lefties should be banned from shooting. lol

  • That was an accident and could happen to anyone

  • is the music from Dirty Harry??

  • @DRUMSTIX5Baod

The music is from Bullitt with Steve McQueen. Lalo Schiffrin did the music.

  • is the music from Dirty Harry??

  • sorry, i was using your video as an example to make a point. nice grouping by the way

  • @jeremy74pow

I hope everyone gets the point. Safety at the range is paramount. First time shooting full auto, I should have verified correct placement of the selector switch. Used to shooting the M16A2. Safe, Single, 3 shot burst as opposed to safe, Safe, Single, Full Auto.

  • being in the military thats no excuse. you should know how to control your weapon semi or full auto. even if it did suprise you, let off the trigger.

  • @jeremy74pow

I wasn't making excuses for anything. I did let off the trigger after I noticed it was going full auto.

  • What that in Belleville, IL?

  • @zerk54

    St. Louis, Missouri

  • by the looks of it the ceiling looked like its already been shot up with over 1000+ rounds

  • You hear someone say "what the fu--" lmao

  • thanks for sharing. that's the best mistake. nothing bad happened except a small bit of property damage. and because of you I learned that if I'm shooting a bushmaster to make sure it's on semi.

  • Banned from the range?

  • @devastateurface

Not banned. No more shooting that day though.

  • Not banned. No more shooting on that day.

  • Tisk tisk tisk... its called safety.....click down....semi-auto....click forward up....full auto. i surmise its a marine

  • @713HTX713

    Everyone makes mistakes.

  • To be fair, they shouldn't allow full auto guns because many selectors are not very pressure sensitive.

  • ooorah

  • come on he was OBVIOUSLY aiming for the ceiling!

  • your not an idiot, you just didnt know it was an full auto and lost control of the recoil

  • well...at least the shots went in the right direction.

  • Wouldn't have happened if your form was better...

  • anyone happen to notice all the bullet holes already in the ceiling. obviously not the first person to do this at this paticular range

  • It looks like your not the only one that has shot the roof. :-) God damn!

  • The question is "how do you get people to act safely around weapons". You don't seem like a total retard, apparently shoot a decent bit, and yet made a dangerous assumption. The first accident can be the last, so NOT having ANY accidents is the goal. Anyone being handed an automatic weapon should have to sign off after a quick safety orientation. Might be annoying, but if it keeps "ammunition" out of the hands of anti-gun nuts, it's worth it.

  • look at the ceiling your not only one

  • wow, i never imagined full auto rifles for rent

  • AR-15, not bushmaster. Bushmaster is just one manufacturer of that type of firearm.

  • I didn't know Bushmaster had a model just simply called the "Bushmaster" LOL! AR15 works for every civilian semi auto version of the whole series of weapons that were originally an AR15/M16 Variant.... Lol

  • my first thought was how did you get so much muzzle rise but i know for me i grip hand guard just a little tighter for auto or rapid fire as compared to slow single shots. mistakes happen all that matters is you learn from it.

  • It's most awesome of you to own up to such a mistake and post it here so we can all learn from it.

  • Weird. I've never been to an indoor pistol range that allows rifles. Cool.

  • LOL it could have happened to anyone. Nice shootin Tex

  • Cool music. What is it? Bullitt?

  • WOLF ammo is extremely cheap. its because you cant reload the expended brass.

  • This music was used in the old movie Bullet I think. Is it part of the soundtrack?

  • Lol, I hate it when the fun switch is in the wrong position.

  • funny video but pretty helpful..your humble and helpful intentions are highly appreciated sir.

  • It's a good vid, man. The point that 'accidents will happen' was well made since you're obviously no noob to shooting rifles. You were pretty calm even while you realized what you did, so good job.

The other day I went into my local gun shop and asked to hold an AR-15. Once I had it, I realized I didn't know how to hold it or do anything with it. It had been 15 years since I fired (expert, thank you very much) an M16A2. So you gotta be aware and stay in practice.

  • Haha, Thanks for the lesson, unfortunately (yet comically) at Kurt's expense!:-)

  • lol. all through the video you can see hundreds of bullet holes very close up in the ceiling.

  • From the looks of that ceiling I would say that you are not the first one to do that!

  • That was funny.

  • wow u df epic fail lol

  • Don't feel bad, the indoor range I go to has A LOT of bullet holes in the ceiling. Some of the holes are about a foot out from where the bench rest is. LoL.

  • lefti!

  • i was able to shoot after TLCoki was ejected from the range. However, i was so nervous that i didnt have that much fun because all eyes were on me now.

  • Hilarious!

  • End = Gigitty gigitty!

  • Wish my range had a select fire :)

  • man you need a comp brake for that thing I would get a FSC556

  • I thought the compensator was supposed to help keep the weapon from pulling up as you fire on auto.

  • If we never made mistakes then what is the point of aiming our guns in a safe direction at all times. If you think your so badass to never slip up then try aiming your guns at your loved ones....for you liberals out there please don't actually try...aiming...your guns...at your loved ones, unless of course they to are liberals. hahaha!

  • if i am correct it is illegal to have a fully automatic gun as a us citizen

  • @trent345678 You are not, in fact, correct. US Citizens (non military or law enforcement) can purchase fully automatic firearms if they are manufactured before 1986 - they just cost a lot.

  • @trent345678

Wrong. A US Citizen can own a full automatic weapon if they obtain a Class III stamp. It requires a very extensive ATF background check.

  • You are not correct.

  • @trent345678 Well, you are incorrect.

  • LoL..i've been out for 13 years and I can still remember our range control verbatim "rotate that selector from safe to semi..."

  • where is that music from?

  • Darn Southpaws!!

  • we call em wrong handers...

  • Damn southpaws!!!

  • haha thats funny

  • bushmaster makes m4's........

  • "You shot the roof" haha!

  • this is why lefties need to be extra careful with standard AR15 pattern rifles, as a right handed person can easily index the selector lever...

  • @longbeachmustangkid none, you can only purchase (legally speaking) class 3 firearms (NFA) in your area of residence (city, town, county, state) as it requires signature of your local chief LEO for your resident jurisdiction. The only way in cali, is to open up a gun shop and have all the various permits needed, which would cost about $25k just in permits in Cali., and take you years... and tons in political donations (legal bribery) to get the chief LEO to sign off....

  • Ooopsy!

  • looks like quite a few people have done that judging by the number of holes in the roof beams!

  • good grouping man....cept for those last rifle shots!!!!lol nice vid

  • That looks alot like Target Masters in Milpitas

  • And yet I find it no where on youtube

  • Hey, I tried a head shot from 7 yards with me new shotgun and blew up a light fixture at the end of the range.

  • hahaha!

  • At my range if you hit the ceiling its $25 for every hole. so that would have cost you like $100-125 lol

  • ?? was that a 5 round burst?

  • ive seen worse...

  • maybe there was a rat up there u never know ......

  • im curious why a shooting range would rent out full auto capable firearms to people, but i live in australia and we're pretty tight on firearms over here.

  • Because your government doesn't trust you.

  • I actually had something like this happen at my last range trip. The guy next to me was using an AR-15, on Semi-Automatic, he was hitting the ceiling, you can imagine the range officer was not happy.

  • Ahh man What did they do after you shot the ceiling?. Did they make you pay or ask to leave?. Thanks for posting the video. Its always good to be reminded of safety every now n then.

  • They let me stay. They just didn't let us shoot the bushmaster anymore. They assured me I wasn't the first idiot to hit the ceiling. Accidents can happen to anyone. That's the only point I was trying to make.

  • @TLCoki atleast your not hurt....make 1 bad mistake with a gun..and it could be the last thing you evar do...

  • @TLCoki the music sound like something from the dirty harry series lol

  • @TLCoki Your first problem is using that crap ammo...many ranges around here won't let you use it.

  • Thats why there always holes on the ceiling for indoor ranges...Im surprised they didnt ask you to leave =)

  • he spotted a spider up there

  • Hey man it takes courage to show the world you making a fool of yourself so that mabe someone else wont! Good job man haha all of us F up every now and then.

  • shit happens to anybody that shoots long enough...

  • Wow, is that quagmire in the last seconds? GIGGETYGIGGETY!

Mistakes do happen, no one was hurt. Thanks for the vid.

  • I can't believe you're in the military and don't know how to safely operate an ar-15 or any variant of.

  • Yeah, I know right. I posted the video to show that anyone can make a mistake. If you can't understand that or appreciate it, that's your problem. Hopefully people will pay more attention when using firearms.

  • @TLCoki

Even the most seasoned shooters will can have an accident. It can happen to anyone. The moment you think it can't happen to you - it will.

  • @TLCoki This guy is a real man. He'll admit he made a mistake and than post it to show others that they do happen. All you people should take notes on this guy. Respect

  • LOL, he kept it downrange, even after a pretty serious incident.

Finger came out of the trigger guard as soon as he knew something was wrong.

I'd say his training came through well.

    You're just an ass

  • looks like alot of people shot the roof before you, im not sure with a full auto rifle tho :P

  • Thats funny.

  • It's great that you posted this yourself -- makes the humor that much better.

  • lolz

  • If I remember correctly, "Bullseye Indoor Pistol Range" in St. Louis, MO.

  • i live in columbia mo

  • Looks like Bullseye range, although they must have stopped renting the full auto m16 years ago because I've been going since '07 and have never seen it available.

  • @TLCoki LOL Dude! So you're why they don't let rifles in there anymore! But seriously, thanks for posting this. It's a reminder to us all. I had an SKS unload the half a clip on me once. Thank God I was outside and shooting at a downward angle. Not cool if you ain't expecting it!!!

  • Which range was this?

  • haha
