if hebe were to hold the mic right by her mouth wen singing that rlly high note it would have came out super loud and distracted the song (and also ella and selina wen theyre trying to sing the other parts) since it would have probably been over it in a sense. i dont kno how to explain it. thats why she starts by her mouth and continually moves it away to avoid the full extent of blast of her vocal power. its also to show to her range get from loud to louder.
