  • Amazing just amazing! The age of steel and that was practicly identical

  • @StickMarsChannel Thanks! With those Cybermen, it's all about being "identical." :)

  • how do you do the moonbase voice

  • @JackWolf10 I applied a vocoder effect to my voice, using a software utility called Zerius Vocoder.

  • The invasion one is my favorite style :) amazing!

  • Almost identical. Good job, man

  • @ZADER4427 Thanks!

  • Ace vid and superb, in billions of ways and well done BadWolfSJ.

  • how did you make the tenth planet voices?

  • @CyberUpgrades I recorded a sample of my voice, duplicated it, used HOG to ring modulate the duplicate sample using a frequency of 3000, lowered the volume of the duplicate by 50%, then mixed it on top of the original sample.

  • lol i love the tenth planet voice but the cybermen from the second doctor era are way better than any other cybermen perticurly tomb of the cybermen.

  • @ZacAttackk1996 I used a utility called HOG with a ring modulation frequency of 60.

  • how do you do the silver nemisis voices, i'm making my own eppisodes and i'm going to write a cyberman eppisode with cybermen from mondas and paralel earth but i can't get the voice!

  • @andrewandmorph OK, I'll post my answer again: For the Silver Nemesis voice, I duplicated the sound, lowered the pitch of the duplicate by 3 semitones, lowered its volume by about 50%, mixed it together with the original sample, then added a delay effect to the whole thing (in Audacity, the settings for the delay would be... Decay amount: 0 Delay time: 0.06 Number of echos: 1)

  • dont suppose you know how to make the happiness patrol kandyman's voice do you, cus i am thinking of making a model of the candy kitchen and the kandyman and would really help me :)

  • @keiracounsell I'm not sure... he sounds like he uses an effect similar to the 80's Cybermen, except more high-pitched.

  • @BadWolfSJ how did you do the rise of the cyberman one?

  • @DrWhoMoviesInc I used HOG (ring modulation, freq: 200.)

  • "Only stupid earth brains like yours would have been fooled" lol kit and gery really should of given the cybermen less silly things to say than that and "clever, clever, clever"

  • Excellent! They were all perfect! Love the Silver Nemesis Cyber-leader voice the best.

  • @MrHorrorFan Thanks a lot!

  • @LewisHarvey100 Thanks

  • What software/plugins do I need to do the Next Doctor voice?

  • @flubberface08 There are a number of things you can use. I recommend HOG as it has a built-in ring modulation effect and it's free.

  • @BadWolfSJ Thanks, also, could I just use my normal voice or should I lower the pitch?

  • @flubberface08 It would probably sound good enough without lowering the pitch, though it depends on how deep your normal voice is.

  • How did you do the Age of Steel voice?

  • @dalekcaanman Same as The Next Doctor one, except with a frequency of 200.

  • @BadWolfSJ Are you sure cuz I think the right frequency is 250!

  • @dalekcaanman I'm pretty sure I used 200, but I guess it can be slightly different for different people, so use whatever frequency works best for you.

  • the cyberman voices from the invasion are the scariest.

  • How did you do The Next Doctor voice?

  • @dalekcaanman I used a utility called HOG with a ring modulation frequency of 60.

  • @BadWolfSJ It does not sound alike when I tried it. Do you do something else?

  • @dalekcaanman Oh, I think I also lowered the pitch of my voice by 1 semitone (before applying the ring modulation) but that's about it.

  • @ParadigmDalek get the VST Bridge for the killerringer

  • @ParadigmDalek Using Audacity, first go to Effect->Bass Boost... the settings for this step could vary, but basically it's to make the voice sound a bit more "muffled." Once you've done that, duplicate the track and apply the killerringer effect to the duplicated sound (for killerringer, set root-pitch to 0.05 and all 0's on everything else.) That should give you the Revenge Cybermen effect.

  • would you like to be the cybercontroler for one of my future dwfa it will be the tomb controller but as it is with paul i think its should be an attack controller!?

  • I have audacity and goldwave please tell me what frequency you used for T5Doctors attack and nemesis???????

  • @naztardis What I did in Audacity was duplicate the track, change pitch of the duplicated track by -3.00 semitones, and reduced its volume by about half the volume of the first track. For the Silver Nemesis one, I also added a delay effect (Decay amount: 0 Delay time: 0.06 Number of echos: 1)

  • Wow, how did you do The Moonbase voices? I've been looking how to do that effect for a while now.

  • @StevetheEmperor For that voice, I used a utility called Zerius Vocoder.

  • How did you do the "Age of Steel" voice? I am using Audacity and HOG.

  • @brovie96 I used HOG ring modulation with 200 for the frequency.

  • Comment removed

  • fantastic work buddy really accurate

  • @dalekidea Coming from you, that means a lot, thanks!

  • How did you do The Wheel In Space voice

    PLS TELL ME HOW!!!! PLS!!!

  • @dalekcaanman For the Wheel voice, I used HOG ring modulation with a frequency of 25 (about the same frequency as a Dalek voice.)

  • bloody good voices. The BBC should hire u to do the voices. I loved the tenth planet and "wheel" voices. The 80's voices were "excellent". You managed to make yourself sound like different actors all at the same time if u know what i mean.

  • @MrJBond0079 Thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it. And yes, I was also trying to sound like the different actors in addition to the effects, especially with the 80's Cybermen. I'd love to have a job doing the voices of Daleks and Cybermen for the BBC, though I doubt it will ever happen.

  • how th hell did u do the silver nemesis one.. it is brilliant !!!!!!!!

  • @keiracounsell Thanks! For the Silver Nemesis voice, I duplicated the sound, lowered the pitch of the duplicate by 3 semitones, lowered its volume by about 50%, mixed it together with the original sample, then added a delay effect to the whole thing (in Audacity, the settings for the delay would be... Decay amount: 0 Delay time: 0.06 Number of echos: 1)

  • How did you do the Tenth Planet voice?

  • @DarthJuhoker96 First, I recorded my voice speaking in thaaaaat weird accentuuuuation of theirs, then I used HOG to ring modulate the recorded sample using a frequency of 3000, lowered the volume of the ringmodded sample by 50%, then mixed it on top of the original sample.

  • Some very accurate voices there. Well done.

  • By what method di you use to do the voices from Attack of the Cybermen and Silver Nemesis please god I'd love to know?

  • @Agui007 For the "Attack of the Cybermen" voices, I duplicated the sample, lowered the pitch of the duplicate by 3 semitones (while keeping the original duration), lowered its volume by 50%, then mixed it together with the original sample. For the "Silver Nemesis" voice, I did the same thing then added a slight delay effect to make it sound more "echoey."

  • some nice attempts, some very convincing, others not soo much

what did u use to do the voices?

  • @tardiselliot Thanks. I did most of the sound editing with Sound Forge, but I also used HOG for ring modulation, and Zerius Vocoder for the Moonbase/Tomb voice.

  • COOL!

  • @milliput101 Thanks!

  • More successful experiments! Highly authentic.

  • @CyberPlanner Thanks Peter! I tried a lot of different effects to find the most authentic sounding ones.
