  • BTW. thethriller225 and BackFieldBBGuns are the same person. I just got a reply when i was in this account.

  • It's just, you can't call it it's nickname, Blue Brick anymore. Dark Green And A Slightly Lighter Green Brick doesn't sound as catchy.

  • @thethriller225 why? 42! Beenthat colour for a while however I would have prefered a transparent silent colour.

  • as u can see my picture is of LYD

  • nice video

  • As always a very well made film and may ask do did you film this all in one day or over a number of days?

  • Brilliant as always! It looks odd seeing Garratt at the Lodge. Great locations you get everywhere you go. Marvellous. Is there to be a 60th Anniversary Video at the Talyllyn or Rheidol video again this year? 5*

    :-)

  • @JacSGWR I plan on visiting Tally for their 60th gala event shortly.

  • Excellent, great locations, you are obviously prepared to get out the car and walk.

  • Another great video, Penny, the star of course.

  • excellent video thanks, hope you got more of he Garret

  • Lyd in BR black, if that isn't a glimpse into another reality I don't know what is.

Hope they have the gall for Rail Blue with the double arrow emblem, even just for one season, it would be a great glimpse of how the L&B might have ended up if it had survived just a bit longer like the VoR did.

  • That big green diesel's interesting. (2:15) Like a narrow guage class 58.

Lyd looking delightful on the vintage stock.

  • @AndreiTupolev Vale of Ffestiniog - the locomotive in question - was intended to resemble (when it was rebuilt for Ffestiniog passenger service in 1998) the class 59's under the National Grid banner in the 1990's. VoF even gained the same livery as the 59's, and carried it until 2008 when it was repainted into it's present colour scheme. You are right however, that VoF does resemble a class 58, a little bit! LOL Hope this helps.

  • 1:53 - Mind your head! LOL Marvellous footage as always.

  • brill vid have they repainted the coaches into the green livery or where they already like that

  • Just superb, delightful railways and stock with breathtaking scenery.
