I love Nigel Benn. Chris Eubank seems to attract controversity but Benn has always been direct and right on. I'm not saying Eubank isn't a nice guy, but he just seems to get in trouble each time he opens his mouth. Nigel reminds me of Marvelous Hagler. Both physically and technically.

Good for Benn! Even thought i'm from the U.S.n when I was a kid, I used to read about Nigel and his wild ways outside the ring. Ring Magazine did an article about him a couple of years ago and it's cool that he's found some peace in his life and apparently he has taken care of himself financially as well. Nigel Benn was always one of my favorite fighters growing up and it's good that he's doing well in his life.

I'm going to confess that I haven't watched much of Roy Jones. But I've spent a lot of time watching guys like Hagglar and Hearns. Based on what I've seen I think Eubank on form would have beaten them. People seem to forget that Eubank had a rock solid jaw and literally a killer knockout punch. His defence was also bordering on perfect and he was supremely fit. After the Watson fight I think Eubank was never the same. He lost his venom. Eubank doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

Great Post. Benn-Eubank I was a classic and the second fight wasn't half bad. As an American I must say that both Benn and Eubank are two of my favorite fighters. Their rivalry was a classic, in and out of the ring.
