  • Lennox - cool shades!

  • lol 8:18 he calls him a racist word!!!!!

  • don king the man who walks in with one fighter and leaves with another sunset

  • ahhh man good old days of boxing brings back so many memories

  • @1979mirza haha almost the same year ;-) I was a big eubank fan and i'm from holland haha. I had fights with my mom because she wanted me to go to visit my aunt but i wanted to see this fight haha. I won by tko :P

  • state of john mccrink acting the cunt to impress don king

  • @dianabol75

    Michael Watson?

  • Right to the div with the last two comments - FACT - it was a draw get over it - he is still spoken about nearly two decades on by the likes of us which would suggest he is worthy - Ian Brown ex-Stone Roses front man could never hit a note and still can't but he sells out venues and is still knocking out he albums - it is not about the quality of the opponents or the quality of the voice - if the fans think you are a legend - YOU ARE sunshine !!

  • NO not everybody knows that BENN won it especially the judges you mugs - EUBANK is the legend mate

  • dam every 1 was at that fight and wheres the new era of major champion british fighters you dont hardly see any them these days

  • on aggression no doubt but i think eubank was more clinical he knew not to get into a street fight with benn ...he would of had no chance

  • Totally agree with u, but I think Benn underated him, and he just didnt train properly. The second fight he beat him, and everyone knows it. Anyway U have some great footage which i'm glad to watch. All the best.

  • benn would never have beaten eubank. this fight was rightfully scored a draw

  • great fight

  • Benn's a fucking legend

  • at 3 14 benn looks evil :p

  • wqatson may have been techinically better than bothy though

  • all amazing fighters and fights but eubank was the best but was never the same after the tragedy benn fought with his heart loved too straight out fight that got him in trouble alot

  • Comment removed

  • i think eubank was better boxer but benn was a better fighter thats why benn lost too eubank i think agreed with the other stuff though

  • yeahr giht... But Id Benn won the second fight in my book

  • 1 eubank

    2 ben

    3 watson

    4 joe 5 Collins

at there prime thats my order

  • the best fought the best then though, Hatton should of had a Benn/Eubank fight with Witter, Joke Calzaghe wouldnt of beat Benn, Nigel was dangerous early, and a prehistoric RJJ dropped Joke

  • benn

    eubanks

    watson

    joe

    string

    my order all great

  • Lewis is such a faggot.

  • I would love to see you say that to his face

  • in there prime benn would have beat them all.

  • big NIGE was the man!!! he was the true champ!

  • yeh , well , they were comeback fights.

Did Collins fight anyone in their prime ?

  • he got them both way past their best, if he had fought Michael Watson who was way better than Benn and Eubank (look what Michael done to a prime Benn you idiot), Benn would of done to that fat irish prick Collins what he done to DeWitt, Barkley, Collins couldnt of stood with Watson no way, nor Eubank in 90-92

  • they were both past their best

  • Collins was a fat domestos drinking, potato farming Irish bum, never fought anyone in their prime - Watson, Eubank, Benn, Jones Jr, Toney, McLellan etc were all better.

  • sounds like the Irish Joe Calzaghe!!!lol

  • Haha Lennox's face is freshly smashed up from the fight with Bruno!

  • I love Nigel Benn. Chris Eubank seems to attract controversity but Benn has always been direct and right on. I'm not saying Eubank isn't a nice guy, but he just seems to get in trouble each time he opens his mouth. Nigel reminds me of Marvelous Hagler. Both physically and technically.

  • wow

  • WOW...that crazy bastard doing the beating announcment was a fruit-ball.

33-1 for the DRAW.................dam SOMEONE made a LOT of money!

  • great stuff thanks for posting that.memory lane and all that.I loved barry mcguigne he was a one tuff bugger.also good to see frank.i was a benn fan for that fight.fuck don king!

  • Boxing don't seem as exciting as this anymore.

  • post the fight please!

  • the thing is though, back then we had characters, Benn, Eubank, Honey, Naz, Lennox, just to name a few, now you have Hatton, Calzaghe's fucking boring, and David Haye's quality

  • What happened to British boxing you don't see it on tv now. I used to love that intro tune!

  • Best of british boxing. Benn won that fight. Great Great fight

  • i was at this fight,,av scored it loads,,,as much as i wanted benn to win i scored it a draw everytime,,

  • this is a prime example of what would of happened if hatton & witter fought, hatton loved, witter hated, hatton outboxed

  • lol

  • eubank, such a character lmao

  • Sorry as an after thought. I hardly noticed the sun glasses that Lennoz Lewis has on. VERY subtle.Must be indoor ones lmao

  • Shame Eubank is now skint.Evander Holyfield appears to be going the same way despite making TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in purses alone. Benn ? He now lives in Spain and is , I kid you not, a man of god !!

  • Good for Benn! Even thought i'm from the U.S.n when I was a kid, I used to read about Nigel and his wild ways outside the ring. Ring Magazine did an article about him a couple of years ago and it's cool that he's found some peace in his life and apparently he has taken care of himself financially as well. Nigel Benn was always one of my favorite fighters growing up and it's good that he's doing well in his life.

  • lol look at Lennox!!!

  • I was there!!I paid 50 quid and was seeing more of the fight watching it above the heads of others nearer the ring who paid 75 quid.Alright the ones nearer the ringside would`ve had ample view but i didn`t grumble too much.Didn`t want to see a draw though!!!

  • nigel benn is my faviroute boxer of all time hes an evil mother fuker lol and i liek that in a boxer

  • anyone have any opinion on who's the best british boxer ever?? including all the british isles.

  • the best british boxer ever would have to be either joe calzaghe, chris eubank, or naseem hammed

  • Scratch Hamed off that list and put Lennox Lewis instead.

  • james braddock mate easy

  • james braddock he was irish

  • Irish and British are 2 very differnt things.

Ted Kid Lewis was the best ever brit!!

  • Jimmy Wilde, Ted 'Kid' Lewis, and Jackie 'Kid' Berg were the best but their all post-war so no-one can remember them. Recent, I like Nigel Benn, Lloyd Honeyghan and Ken Buchanan

  • *I meant pre-war of course!

  • is it possible to find their first fight??

  • Does anyone know who performed Nigel Benns entrance music "I am dangerous"

  • Conroy Smith Dangerous was the original version and the soul dance hallers did the remix there on myspace

  • Benn used to come out to the remix right? I couldn't find that myspace page, do you have the link? Seems like both versions of this song are rare online.

  • Been searching for that clip for years, is it on YouTube?

  • courtny melody i think

  • Does anyone agree with me that Eubank (around about the time he first won the first fight again Benn) was the best middleweight ever? Personally, I think Eubank at his best would have beaten Haggar, Leanard, Hearns or any of those guys.

  • so your saying he would have beat roy jones? eubank on had notable fights with english fighters..roy jones, marvin hagler, and hearns would have knocked eubanks out within 8rounds....peace

  • I'm going to confess that I haven't watched much of Roy Jones. But I've spent a lot of time watching guys like Hagglar and Hearns. Based on what I've seen I think Eubank on form would have beaten them. People seem to forget that Eubank had a rock solid jaw and literally a killer knockout punch. His defence was also bordering on perfect and he was supremely fit. After the Watson fight I think Eubank was never the same. He lost his venom. Eubank doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

  • Well that's just it, he didn't follow up from it. People were talking about him in those sort of terms after the first Benn fight, but after that awful performance against Dan Sherry.... and then being out-boxed (and made to look very disjointed) by Gary Stretch... and then falling to pieces after 6 rounds (weight-starved?) against Watson at Earls Court (albeit looking brilliant for 4-5 rounds)...

  • Im getting de ja vu I think

  • Ahhh. Has anyone else noticed the eerie absence of "yank" verus "Brit" feuds? Ahhh *sigh* read that er... silence.

  • i know its so peaceful aaahhh

  • Great, great Post, as per usual.

  • props for posting this

  • Oh my goodness what a post

  • the presenter looks creepy

  • lennox talks breeze, Benn is from ilford, eubank is from peckham, and has live in care homes in Bush and stoke newington

  • Great Post. Benn-Eubank I was a classic and the second fight wasn't half bad. As an American I must say that both Benn and Eubank are two of my favorite fighters. Their rivalry was a classic, in and out of the ring.

  • HAHA Don King loved it! manchester has had so many top fights.

  • Yeah, mainly because promoters pay through the nose to get their fights in Manchester. The crowds are the best in the world which makes for great TV.

  • ahh wat could have been if these guys went to america to fight toney, jones jr etc they wld get credit they deserve
