However the lawyer has another girl and doesn't really care about that kidnapped one. The day of the trial comes but the lawyer still doesn't care and put the leader into jail(if he let the leader free, the girl would be returned). The gang becoming angry, decided to go further to even attempt to kill the girl with an explosive vest...

So there some political tension or something going on, so one powerful dude ordered some gangster to take his wife (or girlfriend.) During her imprisonment, they fall in love but he is shot as a criminal in the end.
