I respectfull disagree and that is what confuses me about Rendall fans. Erica is right, Ryan always promises Kendall a life as in family (marriage) and he never ever fulfills that role, he always moves on to his next love interest. At no point has Ryan ever taken the final steps with her. Even with Spike, who was not a creation of their love but it was Greenlee and Kendall's love that gave birth to him. Ryan never accepts her for who she is faults and all, Zach has time and time again.

If Ryan is her destiny, then why is he moving on to her mother of all people. It not just anybody, it's Erica Cane, his son's grandmother. That is a huge WOW!

Even, Erica who was a huge Rendall supporter changed her tune years ago.
