That's not to say we would not support our Royals if they did what the Indigenous and (Proud) British people wanted them to do. They rule over nothing except theoretically, so it doesn't matter a great deal except to people who think a hereditary sovereign, figurehead or not, violates the democratic principle. Anyway, for the past couple of hundred years they've all been born in Britain and marrying into British families, and all of the royals we had before the Hanoverians/Saxe-Coburgs/Windsors were all either foreign or married off to foreign royalty. It makes no difference to me. Better the Windsors than the Bushes.
