John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has "evolved," yet he's continued to oppose key civil rights laws.
i am speaking of conservatives, not party affiliation
but let me give a history lesson
1.-the democratic party was CONSERVATIVE back then, but switched to the republican side instead of supporting civil rights
2.-yes it was, segregation ws started by the conservative south, then democrats, after slavery was outlawed by the progressives, (that will be literal today)
3. those republicans were liberal, check how the conservative south voted, almost 100% against it
so any 1 having medical problems would not be granted rights!!! that is conservatism to the extreme for you
conservative oppose it because it is their creed, which says, people are void of rights, society,(that would be the educated, rich and white male) are to decide when and to whom they will give rights
liberalism, on other hand, says; every person has the right to liberty ,life and to own property, among others
Note: "Southern", as used in this section, refers to members of Congress from the eleven states that made up the Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. location of those states.
okay you want to know why HIliary Clinton dropped out of the election is becuase McCain would of won, and since some americans still have sexist issues including all the races, so Hiliary would still have lost, so the democrats told her to pull out, so that our current president would be voted in racially, o and take a look at the election that bush one and compare it to the one obama one and lets not forget the do seperate the races on that chart, and i did see a huge difference in the last one

Senator Obama DID play the victim/race card when he said "THEY'LL say he doesnt look like the presidents on our dollar bills...and oh ya, he's black!".
Has ANYONE said this? This is what turned me off of Obama as soon as I heard it. I realized he was business as usual and just a lot of fluffy rhetoric. No substance. No judgment. Just a male Oprah who makes over;y-emotional ppl cry with his lofty & empty platitudes.
So you are a racist. You say that prejudice was still prevalent enough to deny any non-white male a legitimate chance at becoming president when it is obvious that a legitimate non-white candidate would win in a landslide. Obama, putting racist words in McCains mouth that he did not,say makes him a racist himself and and therefore an illegitimate candidate for POTUS. It also makes him not a real agent of change but a typical old school dirty politician. Argue back. I welcome the challenge
McCain didn't say Obama doesn't look like dollar bill presidents. It's obvious that Obama and his campaign are bringing up race. They are playing the race card and Obama is a REAL racist. McCain knew nothing else need be said. Just shake hands and move on. It's obvious
now lets just see what happens the closer we get to november my guess...mccain will get dirtier and dirtier to he just ruins his own campaign to the end
thats just what i said if you read and understood my comment. john mccains campaign has not done anyhting or said anything to try to make people afraid of obama because he is black. so obama is wrong in saying mccains camp is trying to make people afraid of him because his black. however, obama i a way shed light on the big elephant in the room that some whites are afraid to vote for him because he is black
while obama never should have said that it was mccain's campaign that is trying to make people afraid of him cause he is black. obama did slightly shed light on the elephant in the room that some whites are afraid to vote for him because he is black
Isn't it about time to find out why Senator McCain failed to help prevent the current mortgage meltdown and high fuel prices when he had a chance to do so? No, the media mafia would never cover their pay-masters.
I don't ever think I have seen John McCain look AND sound as old as he did in that clip. VERRRRRRRRY strange. Almost like he was having a stroke or something on camera. Just strange.
As it becomes more and more obvious for the more rabid Republicans, that Obama will be the next president, their camp is likely to get uglier and dumber much faster than they'll get prettier and smarter.
McCain is sounding more like a whining bitch every single day. He doesn't need to worry about Phil Gramm messing up his chances to be president, shit McCain is doing that his own dam self. Which proves this man will not make it to the White House in November.
I, hope your right! I'm a republican, and Juan Mccain scares me. Who is the real Mccain? One republican, senator, said Mccain has a real bad temper that dosen't belong in the white house! Mccain "VOTED" against offshore drilling, now he's for it. He blames Obama for high gas prices, when he's the one who voted against drilling at home lol. What a hypocrite! He voted against Bush's tax cuts, now he's for making them permenent. Mccain is for AMMNESTY! I'm a republican, i'm voting Obama!
Man, he is arrogant. If the shoe fits, wear it. (I looked arrogant up in the dictionary and Obama fits it well). Are you a racist. No you are not. You're a reverse racist

of course, typical hypocritical conservatives,
conservatives fought to keep slavery legal
conservatives started segregation
conservatives voted almost 100% against 1964 Civil Right ACT
conservatives denied woman and white the right to vote
CONSERVATIVES are denying gays rights.
conservative doctrine is CRIMINAL when it comes to human rights,

Oh my...you are a liar.
1. False. Democrats who were concerned about economic implications defended slavery for the South's benefit.
2. False. Segregation was begun due to societal misunderstandings, and had nothing to do with conservatism.
3. Wrong again. More Republicans voted for it then against.
4. Once more, it was a societal construct, not a political belief.
5. Due to medical reasons, quite plainly.
6. Explain please.

these guys are controlled by the same people - this kind of stuff is not real news
the media needs to vet who is lining these guys pockets now that's real news
I won't vote for either - going third!
and in 2012 I'll support Ventura - he may be a bit of a clod, but he'll kick lobbyist butt out of DC and put the greedy Congressional SOBs to shame.
End the GOP and DNC reign get started now
