  • te falta de a madre sigue intentando pinche men

  • y mis 50 mil pesos que ? apunteleee

  • Hell to the Yeah!

  • the way to go!

humble suggestion: forget seeking technique and sound

and try not to work on anything - just do music (the way you already do)

    you're COOL!!

    :)

  • ;D thanks,

    hugs, love and peace!

  • Man, do you have any paper sheet of Jethro Tull? I play the flute but can't play by ear!

  • lovely! I will send it to my son, his flute cannot wait!!

  • Your doing "My God" right?

  • yep, my god and thick as a brick, 2 different versions, one of them from serenade for a cuckoo

    =)

  • when i learned to play the flute there were 2 major things - technique and SOUND. as for technique - yeah, well done. it was great. very technically. but the sound.... i think - needs working on

  • Probably the camera too though.

  • many things. The camera, the sound and technique, i only played the flute for like 4 months i think. ;D but what the hell...

  • 4 months!? oh, that changes everything! great results :D

  • I play a flute under the infuence of Ian Anderson Jethro Tull music I've played since September 2008 by ear which is more harder than learning with lessons I can't play like Ian I can only sing and play the flute on one note I don't understand music sheets if someone tells me to follow it I rely on memory and sounds fir eg. if I hear a low key I try to match the same key to exactly the same sound as whats on an LP tape CD or radio or TV great job Ian would be proud

  • @floydrules1

I disagree, I've always found instruments easier to learn by ear than with a teacher. I guess everyone has their own learning style

  • that's really cool !

  • not bad

    do bouree

    JON

  • Thanks,

    bouree should be there

  • Love it!

  • Great! Wish I had your confidence. What brand of flute do you play?

  • I play flute too but could never be that good! Great job!

  • Well done! You have great potential. Thanks for helping to keep this great music alive!

  • Thanks to you for watching

  • Hola muy buena rola escogiste (para mi thick as a brick una de las mejores rolas de jethro tull) ps sta muy bn sacaste casi todos los solos q nos son tan fáciles XD.

  • dude.. is taht your original

instrument?? i play flute and i dont even kno how to play like that...cept for the crazyy person part jk

  • Sing and play at the same time, you'll see what happens

  • lmao 0:50

  • how about composing your very own solo rather than learning other ppls work? ;)

  • Well, if you click for more info you will see my myspace link, where you will listen to my own work

  • pretty good keep up wih the heart of the sound

    that the flute can bring

  • Hmm i wander where you have found this back ground music because i''d like to give it a try now :P i ve practices quite a lot and im liking Ian more and more can you send me the backing music of tell me where to find it?

  • I have been a fan of Tull from the beginning when a kid I went to school with played the then new Benefit album. Took a while but in not too many years I started to play myself and now 30 plus years later I wish I could play his stuff as well as you. Good job.

  • I have to agree... one needs nuts to cover Tull... but you do well. :-)

Thick as a brick is a great piece of art, so congrat...

  • Good job!

You played my favorite Tull flute parts!

  • Haha thanks, thats sweet. I think this video is terrible. Its been a couple of years, maybe I should do one more up to date.

    Cheers,

    Marc

  • haha you remember my post about the singing difficulties (A) meanwhile i master the technique :) haha

  • Great!!

  • how do you do that with the flute? xd

    great technique

i hope someday i learn to do that

  • i really like it ;) how you do the singing? im having some difficulties with that technique

  • Thanks! Well, basically you have to sing the same notes you are playing and find a way to make it sound better and depending on the type of voice you have, you get different effects . In Jethro tull's case, Ian Anderson's voice and the flute...those are thing my ears really like.

  • it sounds cool but its to hard to do

id like to learn to do that, there are some songs of ñu played with the same technique xd

  • the sound fits, but your fingers sometimes aren't in the right time with your tongue... you know what I mean? ^^

still, pretty good job, dear! ;)

  • Dankeschoen! This video is kinda embarrasing too =P

  • what are the notes your using for both of these two parts.. i was trying to get them as you were playing, but couldnt get them.

  • it sounds like you have a lot of trouble breathing, work on it, cuz it sounded with bad quality, but its very close to it,

your spitting more than blowing air

  • I know. not anymore though, or at least not that much.

    thanks for noticing

    marc.

  • That's how Ian does it!

  • Hey, Musiqa. Do you have any bossanova flute videos?

  • Dude, that was pretty good. How did you get the notes? I've been trying to figure it out for ever.

  • Thanks, well I actually got them by ear. Sometimes playing them first with the piano or something.

One tip: Thry to play more fluently, especialy in the My God part

  • what the black hand.its very scary

  • That was amazing! God I wish I were as good as you

  • How exactly do you get that sound?

  • well, you have to mix your voice with the flute, playing and singing the same notes

  • that was great, are you self taught

  • Really, wow.. I'm very impressed.

Oh, and.. you're a very awesome performer. XD

  • That's awesome, I wish I could play that solo like that =_=
