Lisa your a great host. You always try to make everyone feel comfortable. But whatever happened to BellaMishella? Why isn't she on the Moms View anymore?
Do you really read all of the comments? lol Well I think you girls are amazing. I love the Moms View! I am not a mom yet but I love hearing your advice and listening to you all share your personal stories. Collette your humble and an example to young girls! Kayli you are so sweet! I can tell you are becoming more comfortable in front of the camera and I love hearing what you have to say. Miya your so calm and go with the flow. Carlie you can be funny just like your brothers!
i love this show but I would also love to see more diversity in the guests (ethnically, financially, etc. ...also maybe a guest mother of a child with special needs)
It's like real life ya know like baking cookies and making memories like being a personal trainer and like you get all like learning how to sew and like being like at the salon like for 20 hours like while my kids like are locked in the closet like not being with them like all the time and life's like trying to be like my mom like and it's kinda like I'm all like so need starbucks hahaha ya know like hehehe LOL
How the hell did I get here from Tim & Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job; Cigarette Juice. Did I breach some kind of event horizon from the 'weird part of YouTube' and find the part meant for the normals? Final thought: when the middle one furrows her brow there's a line that goes across her head. I think she may have had a lobotomy. Cool story girls.
I'm young and wont have children for a few years, but I want kids badly and these videos inspire me SO much, I love them and they make me not fear the future nearly as much as I ued to. I cant wait to ba an amzing mother like all of these strong and beautiful women!

i think the moms should have a show on what they think about women who get pregnant before they are married, but have a stable relationship or not one at all.. i know they did a moms on the loose, but i would to have them sit down and really talk about it what they think about it.
Listening to you guys talk about having your kids and the kids growing inside of you has really...idk it just gives me hope again. I don't have kids right now but it gives me the urge to want to have kids.
I totally needed this video. I am a stay at home mom, and I can totally relate to the whole needing a break thing. Today was a particularly rough day, and both of my kids were ornery and by the end of the day I was frazzled. Thank you mamas for reminding me to step back and breathe, appreciate and cherish every moment with my kids, and remember that they grow so fast, and one day I will miss this craziness. I love the Moms View!
I'm only 13 but my mom watches this and as soon as it was over she like stopes everything and tried hanging out with me and I want to thank you because me and my mom don't get times like that and your advice brought is together
My Boy is 3 and my husband and I have been married 6 years. I remeber before the baby how great our relationship was and how easy life was to just be happy with one another. The baby even though planned, put so much stress on us from day one! We still have problems not fighting and its said that our relationship had to take such a hit. One thing is that our child is not the easiest either! I wonder if its bad parenting or him but he acts out so much! I dont want the family to fall apart!
I feel like you guys are my aunts or something. Not quite mothers, but you guys still teach me so much stuff and you are such role models. I've learned so much about what kind of mother I want to be, and how to be that mother. I get so much out of these videos! It's soo nice!!
You are all so pretty and thoughtful! I just love you guys.. I'm 19 now, and I really want to have a baby because of you guys!! :D I'm going to wait though :P.
Is it weird that I didn't know I had a top comment..? lol. Thanks girls! ((The question still stands! lol..."Can you guys do a special with the dads...I can't understand my husbands parenting..so maybe if I see a mans point of view, it would help")
I think you should do a show on parenting teenagers. i know none of your kids are that old but maybe just talk about what your teenager years were like. for example how your parents parented you and did you fight with your parents? what did you learn from you parents parenting you that you will try to do or not do with your kids are teenagers. or also with them now, what did your parents do that you believed worked with you and what did they do that you do not agree with?
you guys are an amazing group of people, talking about interesting ideals. I'm a person who loves being with kids, thats why I am interested in becoming a music teacher. I want millions of kids through education, by making trips, challenging them, being there for them. I also want to be the best father too. What makes a good father in your opinion? this question goes to the single mom's as well! I in a sense want to be a Mr.Mom when I become a parent (sometime in my LONG future :P ) Thanks!
In the last episode I think Mia said that she had a homebirth. I think that Mia should talk about her homebirth experience and the other mothers should compare it to a hospital birth.
This one is so much more organized than the first "show" - great job! I feel like everybody got a chance to talk and everything was interesting. Love this channel
The other day, my mom lost her job. She was an ER nurse, and worked at the hospital for about 10-11 years. She finished nursing school when I was 3 or 4 years old. Since she became a nurse, she has had to work almost every day, and every Holiday. She's taking a break, so that she can spend time with our family.
i love that all of you are shareing your memories of your children.. its amazing to see that everyone of you have different stories to tell. know im not a mum but i think that no matter what situation you are in wheather your a single parent or married then you can be a good parent.. hearing carlies point of view being a single parent moved me.. she is a wonderful mum and i dont see why some people bullied her on the internet sometime ago..Girls keep on shareing your stories.xx
my cuzin is 16 and she has a one year old child she i juggling a full time job school and taking care of her baby her and her boyfriend are "taking a break" and she is having a hard time trying to get through this. i told her to watch some of your videos and listen to what you were all saying two days later she tells me she learned alot she said that your videos helped her i just wanted to say thanks for helping her she, has learned more about being a mom then any book could teach her! - Athena
@ahlalalex i was just thinking the same thing. she reminds me of a lady who's the leader of like a women's bible study at a church or something! she's so kind hearted and sweet.
let me just say.... I am 19 years old. And thanks to all of you... I learned so much just by watching your videos... <3 thanks for everything. I hope I'll be a mom as good as you all.
hey could someone please tell me everybodys names (except colette obvsly) and how theyre related to mommytard/ what kind of relationships they got? ive been watching the shaytards forever but i always get all those names mixed up :/
@MsSouldriver I'm going to go left to right. The first one is Lisa, she is a family friend. Then you have Collette, and then Kayli, who is Shay's brother's wife. Then there's Miya who I really don't know much about at all, but she is clearly the girl's friend, and then lastly, there's Carlie and she is Shay's sister.
Aww Carlie I know how you feel. I have 5 kids (2 step sons and 2 from previous relationship and a baby from my husband) I m a stay at home mommy too. I have to share my 2 kids with their dad. 2 weeks here and 2 weeks there. i do get to see my kids all the time cause im his babysitter. So he drops them off during the week. Im so grateful we get along so that its possible for my children to have a stay at home mom. But I miss them when they r not with me. Keep up the videos I love them.
One thing i found when my husband n i had our first child is that i would try to get him as involved as possible; changing nappies, bathing etc... But i would always hover over him n tell him what to do, or tell him he wasnt doing something the right way. He got to the point when he didnt really want to do anything because of the critisism, but i didnt understand what i was doing. It wasnt until we had a talk at my mothers group about getting dads involved that
What are your opinions about how long you should wait to have a second (or third, etc) child? what's appropriate? healthy? how do you know if you want more?
i would really love to see a video of just the kids view ... i think mommytard, kayli, and carlie are awesome moms from what i see their kids always happy
this is great! I would like to know more of the times when you just had a moment where you could not stand to be with your children right now, like you needed a break. I think that it still is a taboo not to want to be with your children all the time
I honestly love this series so much. I am almost 15 but this makes me so excited for when I get a husband and start having kids. I think it would be interesting if one episode you just said what it is like from when you learn you are pregnant to when they are born. Like what you were feeling, tips, and just interesting stories! This is exactly what every mom-to-be needs! :) Thanks for this!
thank you for being REAL! I'm a stay at home mom with five children and I find myself continuously nodding my head in agreement with what you are all saying! Your conversation is real and relaxed, it makes me feel like i'm sitting there on the couch with you! THANK YOU!
I am only 19 and childless (as I hope to be until I find someone wonderful!). I am in college which my amazing parents are paying for. I feel bad, but I know that I would give up the career I am shooting for just to be a stay at home mother! I can't wait to be a mom! How do you guys think your education effected your life as a mom? How about your career goals? Do you find your kids come first always or do you still shoot for your personal goals?
I seriously could watch you guys for hours! Im only 22 but this makes me so excited for my life to come - getting married and having kids. Keep up to good work :)
@leanna1127 same but i am only nearly 14 LOL i cant wait untill i am alot older to get married and have kids too XD but i want to be a midwife XD so i want to do that job for a few years and then have children XD heeheehee i have all my life planned out alredi :') xoxo
All of these moms seemed to bond instantly with their babies. I've heard of many moms where this didn't happen, its not alway immediate. With our first (and third) it was absolutly instant for me, that bonding connection. With our second it took probably 1/2hr and time alone (cleared everyone out of there) with her, for it to click in. At first it was this odd deja vu thing. I kept saying to my husband 'this is so weird, so different'. I've heard of some moms where it takes days to bond.
LOVE the real moments! When Carlie talked about living with the other two moms and seeing how great the families function but it wasn't always perfect, that was awesome. It's so easy to say 'oh it's not always perfect' but to talk about those not so perfect moments is freeing for ourselves and others. I feel like we say 'it's not always cookie cutter perfect' so easily and yet still hold back.
Lisa your a great host. You always try to make everyone feel comfortable. But whatever happened to BellaMishella? Why isn't she on the Moms View anymore?

Since she became a nurse, she has had to work almost every day, and every Holiday. She's taking a break, so that she can spend time with our family.

hey could someone please tell me everybodys names (except colette obvsly) and how theyre related to mommytard/ what kind of relationships they got? ive been watching the shaytards forever but i always get all those names mixed up :/
MsSouldriver 2 months ago

This is such a good idea girls!!

What are your opinions about how long you should wait to have a second (or third, etc) child? what's appropriate? healthy? how do you know if you want more?

this is great!
