i have this bike and i love it! very nice video. i see you got it wound all the way out to the speed limiter, which should be 300kmh and i have always wondered if the bike had the power to go faster. this video looks like the engine is almost at redline when you reach top speed, but i couldnt tell for sure. do you think the bike would go faster without the factory speed limiter?

do you think beginners need a steering damper (stabilizer)? what does it do ?

i know all kawasaki's have an ohlin one, what about other bikes? do beginners need one?

@Rida5d well....the steering damper stabilies youre bike when fast accelerating so you wont get a tankslapper that easy, also in fast cornering it will prevent that the bike becomes unstable and gets off the riding line.

i dont know iff beginners need one , its a good thing too have on a bike , but its my first bike with a steering damper also and before that i never had one and never had a tankslapper for 33 years and in the early years bike where very unstable. :-)

@Rida5d ; well thats sounds like a zx10 on dunlops , they wont handle the power of a 10 , i hade those when i bought the bike but i traded them for michelin 2ct

Dunlops aint the best suitable tires for a 10 , try michelin 2ct or bridgestone 016

@Rida5d no keep the same size, you couldt also firts check the suspension or let it be checked by an experienced guy if you dont know it youre self, also riding a 1000 is different than a 600 , dont jank the throttle too early when outcornering, you can/may use the throttle whan the bike is almost upright, in a lean angle DONT give 2 much throttle or some day the drifting will end in a high sider.youlle have 2 learn 2 ride again with a 1000 cornering speed is much lower with a 1000 than a 600

@Rida5d i got Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and i thought the dunlops was quite good but they nothing on these they are so grippy compared to the unlop n they warm up so quick! def recommend these tyres!!

@Rida5d well if you got new tires , it could be them , lower the tire pressure a little, normally its 2,9 rear and 2,5 front but 2,2, in both will do good , what brand of tire and type have you fitted?

Thanks for the compliments, i like the new 1 specialy in green with the black/white decals , its remembers of the good old days in the superbikeclass. the new 1 ride very good with immense power , it handles like a 600cc but its a very brutal bike on full gas, have fun with it and keep the shiny side up

what year is your 10? Ive got some interesting facts on the 08, 09 and and 2010. Stuff they dont want you to know on the web. In 2000 and 2001 the ZX12 pushed 185hp, then they detuned it in 2002. In 08 the ZX10 pushed out 192hp stock and remained unchanged through2010. If there are any disbelievers just go to your local Kawi dealer and ask to see the certificate of origin. :o)

@sparkit4me mine is a 2007 model with 174,5 hp at the rearwheel measured at the dyno , ad 10% and you got the hp at the cracnkschaft , just about 191 hp

but its light tuned, PCIII and raceairfilter , akra slipons and the catalysator removed

after 1 year riding and just 5000km i would advice you a ZX6R , its as much fun , enough power and great handling and it wont surpise you like a zx10 with its immens power and accelaration and speed,dont know how old you are but youre better of with a zx6 after a 250r , believe me

Bei 240 dann in den 4. und bei 265 in den 5. oder hab ich mich da irgendwo verzählt....weil die Zx 10r die ich gefahren war, (05er) hatte bei 299 im 6. noch knapp über 1000 U/min bevor der rote Bereich anfing. Sprich bei knapp 12k U/min.

Bei 13,2-13,3 ging Sie dann in den Begrenzer.

Fahr derzeit Leider nur ne 600er K3 Gixxer, wäre nen Traum wenn diese so schnell wäre xD

Kawasaki speed limits their bikes to 299kph. It's an electronic speed limiter. Suzuki also does the same thing.

Is schon klar dass der Rechts fahren muss, aber das tut er nicht- das ist auch kein Grund so nah aufzufahren... zu viel Abstand tut keinem weh, zu wenig schon.
