  • CANADA I SALUTE YOU

  • This video is about respecting the Dead.

Would you argue politics over top someones coffin or at their funeral?

Cut the arguing and political bullshit out and pay attention to the subject of the video.

    LEST WE FORGET

  • Precious cargo ,The fallen Heroes will never be forgotten in Canada.

  • This is extraordinary. Well done. In the UK, they are treated like gypsies.

  • Never have I ever been so proud of my country. I don't know why... maybe it's pride... maybe it's the compassion I feel for the families of our fallen soldiers, but I'll admit I teared up. I'm not a religious man, but if there is a god and a heaven, may our fallen brothers and sisters find their way there. RIP

  • What song?

  • You send your soldiers to war they fight!

What the hell else do you expect?! If you have any doubts about the "validity" of a war, then it is the validity of your choice about sending your soldiers to war that is in question. You! You cannot turn off a war like a television set! You can not bring a soldier home. A soldier will live at war for the remainder of his days. So don't send your soldier to war on a whim.

This is in response to all those that sit on their arses with 20/20 hindsight.

  • Who says to cry is a weakness?

In Canada, my country we die together. We hold our soldiers dearly. We don't send them to their death. We expect them to return home. And they do.

There is something special in Canada. Beyond all the tech and all the media and all the politics. We live here for the neighborhood. We live here for life, good or worse. It must be the cold. ;)

  • Look up Wootton Bassett.

  • What give`s you the joy to post this.... Every town country has it`s own home coming for fallen infantrymen or member`s of there own armed force`s. So what if the police come out in force. What your fcking point in it you clown

  • @bennothegreat1971 You're right. How dare he post this video about those who support our armed forces. The nerve of he. It might insult... you? Yeah probably just you because... uh... cough*... its insulting to think that he believes Britain should pay more respect to their soldiers. Yes, this is very insulting, and saying "what your fcking point in it you clown" is an excellent reply for such a hateful video because... uh... ???... -.-

  • pillock

  • Canadian soldiers, I solute you. Greets Sgt. first class Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF)

  • @JaybayJay It seems you enjoy yelling. Proves the point that if your arguement is weak, make your arguement louder.

  • PEOPLE...let there be peace amongst us....and be respectful of what used to be the right to free speech. I fail to see how anything I have written could be disrespectful of The Forces. The politicians yes, Soldiers no. My point was Soldier's deaths should not become a macabre spectacle for political gain; as that is entirely disrespectful and un Canadian. Peace.

  • @annettealex1 I do not apologize for exercising freedom of speech. I do not support fascist aggression against backward, poor countries. I do not support war as state policy or a grand make work project. You would serve your country and children best by contesting a fascist regime that sends them into battle for no valid or good reason, to fight people who will not submit to American Aggression. When did the Canadian Forces become a trailer of the Americans? When did we surrender to Washington?

  • Comment removed

  • @SmileyGarrish How is it a macabre spectacle? Is a funeral procession a "macabre spectacle"? These people are paying their respects to someone who died while fighting with a Canadian flag on their back. It doesn't matter in what conflict or even how they died, they paid the ultimate price for us and they deserve our respect. If you find this a spectacle, I'd hate to hear your thoughts on Remembrance day...

  • @SmileyGarrish What are you getting on about? PTSD and the illegitimacy of this war have nothing to do with the death of the soldier! Both of my grand fathers fought in WW2, one of them was awarded several medals for bravery, I know how terrible war is, but it is equally as terrible as people like you who feel that paying our respects to them is not a just and rightful send off for such a tragic death. Maybe those vets bounced you a little hard on their knee...

  • @wavejumpinseadoo My point was that own PTSD messes up my thinking about such things and give me empathy fpr those who come homewith it. But comparing my argumentation with war; really? You watch too much tv.

  • @lauwai4life @SmileyGarrish YOU BOTH NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP.. YOUR SHITTING ALL OVER THIS MEMORIAL OF MY COUNTRYMEN. A VID A DECENT BRIT LAD POSTED THIS OUT OF RESPECT.

Take your fight somewhere else. Our Canadian Army constantly we refer to ourselves as Peace Keepers.. Not instruments of War and Death. We as a Country are very conflicted on Afghanistan and don't agree with the Iraq War.

You wanna bitch about the propagation of War.. Go do it on an American Tribute.

    Or your Own.

  • @JaybayJay You're telling me you're fine with someone saying that Canadian troops have been fighting in an illegal American imperialistic war, rather than a just one sanctioned by the United Nations Security Council? I can tell you've never had a uniform on your back.

  • @lauwai4life are you referring to iraq or afghan? iraq wasnt sanctioned by the UN but afghan was

  • @Vinny86100 My comments were in response to a writer who was referring to Afghanistan, which was sanctioned by the Security Council. And if you can get all members of the council, including Russia and China to agree, or at least abstain, then that war is probably worth fighting.

  • @lauwai4life I'll say it one more time just so you hear me clearly.. War is not worth fighting.. Governments literally use it as a form of Population control.. Explain why they spend $600 billion on bombs while at the same time, Deny people basic Health Care.. ? What if just for one year, US diverts $600bil into the world economy? You think if all countries helped out each other without asking for something in return there would still be need for War?

  • @JaybayJay What's a pacifict like you doing on this site, anyway?

  • @lauwai4life No.. I never said that... I said stop arguing about it on a tribute to fallen heroes who only followed their orders. Please, argue the point on the video of The AH-64 wasting civilians.. Just not here where one of your fellows is paying tribute to the respect we give our soldiers.. And my whole family is military, my uncle protected the Queen when she was here back in the Eighties. I don't have to wear the uniform to care about soldiers. I live ten minutes walk from a Base too.

  • @lauwai4life And if you learn to read I clearly pointed out that we Canadians are VERY conflicted about the war regards of who sanctions it.. War only feeds War.. Nothing good comes of it.. Only death.. and also I agree with you on some points.. Americans are Imperialistic Hippocratic Bigots.. Don't think all Canadians love the U.S.. Alot of us are pissed at our Southern Cousins, and not for just the war.

  • @lauwai4life Just one more point.. My grandfather, the man who Raised me served the Canadian Army faithfully During World War II, and served the British people faithfully.. It was his wishes that his eldest daughter, A Sgt. Major's, children did not serve in the military, so I've lived my life as a Civilian.. You don't know my heart.. You shouldn't presume to know anything about anybody..

  • @lauwai4life THIS IS THE LAST I'M REPYLING TO YOU CUZ YOUR SOOO STUPID YOU GET NOTHING. MY ANGER OF THE US IS BECAUSE $600 BILLION CAN BE BETTER SPENT. THOSE PPL ONLY WANT A BETTER LIFE LIKE WE HAVE AND INSTEAD THE WEST BUILDS WEAPONS TO DESTROY THEM. $100BIL ON JAILS SO THE CAN RE-ENSLAVE THE POPULATION. YOU KNOW NOTHING OF ME, NOR MY AGE, MY VIEWS, OR PAST. JUST BY YOUR ATTITUDE I KNOW MORE THAN ENUF ABOUT YOU. YOU ASSUME ALOT. YOU HAVE NO RESPECT. YOU'RE INSULTIVE AND YOU DON'T LISTEN

  • Comment removed

  • @JaybayJay So be Canadian and open your mind to other opinions. As a British and Canadian Citizen I have every right to comment upon what I think is a political disgrace. Can't you see a difference between judging a military action ordered by politicians to be wrong and foolhardy, as compared to castigating faithful and moral Soldiers who serve this country, in part to protect my freedoms and wellbeing. I don't forget that fact. Wasting good people in a futile misguided war deserves contempt.

  • @SmileyGarrish I said I was sorry :(

  • @SmileyGarrish Again i'm not against your beliefs, and I agree with them.. Maybe not all of em.. I just didn't like seeing what I saw as two retards arguing like idiots on a Memorial page.. so I again apologize to you.. That other dude is pure idiocy.. He still thinks I'm like five years old.. And I don't believe much in war as the first resort... regardsless who orders it. We live in a world where we should be able to handle things without it. Are we to forever to police the Middle East?

  • @JaybayJay ooops.. watch out.. that other guys gonna jump all over my grammar and spelling errors.. I must be stupid.. No .. I'm eating ribs and typing with a napkin.. Yum Yum Yum ... Be well Britian, and yes bro.. I am very open to other opinions. But not on war.. The direct negative of War is Peace and there ain't shit wrong with that... God I sound like a Hippy....ALL WE ARE SAYING.. IS GIVE PEACE A CHANCE.. ... ALL WE ARE SAYING......is give peace a chance... hahhahah @lauwai4life bye DiK

  • @JaybayJay No, it's not the ribs. You just can't write worth shit.

  • @JaybayJay If you ask most soldiers how they'd like to be described, I'll tell you the answer. They want to be known as SOLDIERS, not Peace Keepers, or Policemen, or F--king Social Workers. They are soldiers and employed in the Profession of Arms. You sound like the whiny illegitimate child of our worst Prime Minister, the Clown Prince of Canada, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, the man who single handedley ruined our armed forces. Go away child!

  • @lauwai4life I told YOU ...IM NOT READING IT....LOSER!!!! IM ALMOST 40 RETARD.. NOW I KNOW.. YOU'RE A TROLLER LOOKING TO ANGER PPL

  • @JaybayJay If you're 40, then your description of yourself is perfectly accurate. "I'm almost 40 retard", But cheer up, because soon you'll be a 40 year old retard.

    .

  • @lauwai4life Absolutely!!!

  • @lauwai4life Been following this thread. Very spirited, but this sums it up.

  • @lauwai4life I Cannot Belive You Just Called Pierre Elliot Trudeau "The Worst PM"! Don't Listen To This ScumBag! He Was One Of The Greatest! Instead Of Bombing Eachother During The Cold War! He Spoke To Kroutchnev, Sov. Union President. Because Of Him, Canadians Are Allowed To Go To Cuba! The Chinese Love Us! Because Of LBP And PET, We Are The Peace Makers Of The World! He Was Great! He Arranged The First Hockey Game Between Russia And Canada! One Of The Greatest And You Sir, Have Shamed Canada

  • @Homemedrunkimtake TRUDEAU ARRANGED A FRIGGEN HOCKEY GAME!? That's your justification for claiming he's great? How about the fact he created the national debt, cut the hearts out of a once proud army, navy, and air force forcing senior officers to retire rather than participate in such a debacle, performed his little pirouettes at the most inappropriate places and times (humour for idiots, but not for heads of state.) I lived in China for 11 years, they don't know who he is.

  • @lauwai4life All through the Trudeau years, Quebec was the tail that wagged the Canadian dog. Most of the influencial cabinet ministers were from Quebec, Quebec got whatever it wanted on language rights, etc. and the West was ignored. For this reason, and many more, the Liberal Party has a better chance of being elected in Moscow than in Western Canada. He spoke to Khrushchev (correct spelling), Of course he did, maybe that's why he pulled all the Canadian troops out of Germany?

  • @JaybayJay If you haven't thought this through yet consider that Russia and China voted to support the disaster in Afghanistan because the American actions serve Chinese and Russian interests: A Weakened America. In no way does attacking Afghanistan make any sense for Canada; in no way does that action benefit or build respect for Canada. We now have thousands of permanently scared men and women, stress disordered, maimed and dead - for what? The Soldiers are not to blame, and most would agree.

  • @JaybayJay Fact: The root of the problem is the Integrated Officer Corp. The American Military has subsumed the Canadian Forces and it's independence of action within its own envelope. Canada has not had an independent foreign or military policy since that process occurred decades ago without public input. Like NORAD we are linked and go where they go. If you think our Officers and Navy were not involved in Iraq and the Persian Gulf you must be blind, or believing American Propaganda, or both.

  • @SmileyGarrish God... There you go assuming shit.. Here I am fucking apologizing.. Your just as bad as him..

  • You got it all wrng mate. See your mates face blown off and you think differntley.. I was trying to say it dont matter how you honour the dead, they are dead!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SyKerry about my comment below - I can not see how it can be misconstrued as offensive to Soldiers, or somehow denigrating their service. Isn't it the place of civilians to speak out in a free country, to speak forcefully for the dead and those who might go that way? Isn't it necessary to contest stupidity and reckless political games which cause so much damage and waste? Soldiers can not, and are gagged in a way. Am I not defending the Soldier's right to enter battle only for good reasons?

  • Clearly the person who made this video never seen Wooton Bassett

  • @SmileyGarrish You Sir, are a twat. The genuine article.

  • Comment removed

  • @SmileyGarrish My family's military history goes back to knights in armor. Military Crosses in the first world war, 2 great uncles killed, one when his field gun received a direct hit, grandfather fought from First Mons in 1914 to the second battle of Mons in 1918. My father was blown up by an Italian aerial torpedo in WWII, the only man found alive out of 40. More recently Malaya, Borneo, and the Falklands. I went to BRNC and you're still a twat.

  • Comment removed

  • @SmileyGarrish You don't know what you're talking about do you? The comments here concern Afghanistan-the action there is sanctioned by the United Nations Security Council under Resolution 1386 (2001) of which article 3 "Authorizes the Member States participating in the International Security Assistance Force to take all necessary measures to fulfill its mandate". Yet you call it "illegal warfare", and "American Imperial wars". Canada has been living up to it's responsibilities!

  • @lauwai4life If you don't know why other Security Council Members went along with the this debacle you are intentionally misleading or blind. It most certainly serves the interest of China and Russia to watch the USA and also Canada waste resources, and men, and 'political capital' the world over, attacking the very same people trained and armed by the US as a bulwark against 'socialism'. The many false pretences engaged to accomplish that Resolution also negate it's surface legitimacy. Eat shit

  • Comment removed

  • @SmileyGarrish No, the word twat describes you better than any other in the English lexicon. I could be MORE insulting, but why bother. The only way of making the description more precise would be to add a few adjectives, such as ignorant, left-wing pinko, moronic, etc. There's ample to choose from. Which reminds me, I make it a fundamental point of policy never to correspond too long with idiots, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave you to your mean-spirited little world. Ciao

  • Comment removed

  • @lauwai4life Again you refuse to address the criminal nature of the religious/resource war itself, which simply morphed from deposing an American Puppet in Iraq, to 'destroying the Taliban' in Afghanistan: All the while claiming native Afghans to be 'insurgents' when the invading Army was and is pure insurgency. Orwellian DoubleSpeak has convinced you that violence is some answer to violence, that throwing good men and women into battle on false dishonourable pretences is valid state policy.

  • @lauwai4life mine go back 2 1812 the great war,and i still serve 4 canada,no generation is lost to this country.

  • @SmileyGarrish @lauwai4life I apologize for snapping at you Smiley.. I now realize you were defending the Cdn ppl from this loser who thinks he's a god or something.. He removed it but he sent me this "Just a weee bit obsessive aren't you? Yes, to all that, but you're still willing to allow some yob to insult the army. That's a average Canadian for you, fat and apathetic." I'm 6'4" 240pds of break your neck muscle.. I'm not allowing u to insult them am I? You know shit, end of discussion Loser.

  • @JaybayJay 6'4" Fag.

  • @lauwai4life you're correct in that this is not the place to argue politics - I stand corrected

I had not listened or watched before simply reacting on principle - stupid of me - and yes I am a twat

  • Well done the Canadians - Respect the Fallen, for our tomorrow, they gave their to-day.

  • BritLad73, I went to over 20 ramp ceremonies while I was deployed with the Canadians as well as two Rememberance Day ceremonies. Have you ever been in the armed forces? I am an Australian who has worked alongside all of the collocation in the Middle East and Afganistan so I think I can say that each country that has lost members of their armed forces respect their fallen with much appreciation and pride. There is no way the Brits or any collocation country should hang their heads in shame.

  • @Kuric733 Well said, ! clear concise, but most of all Correct,, ! this Arsehole who put together this Video Clip has never served in Uniform,, but uses his perception of some Call of Duty , code to justify his/her own inadequacy , To all the, women and men, that served, their Flag ! and to those who have lost tomorrows Sunrise !!

Thank you for doing, what I did not !

  • my goodness how can anyone even say anything bad about people in a country that are proud of their fallen. **Their Fallen** Dont forget what that means. To the people who think negative that could be your child !!!!! It is also very easy to say anything negative out of jealousy to the world's number one country for 7 years in a row. We do it right with paying tribute to our soldiers that have died for us and we do it right as a country. I am very proud to be Canadian !!!!!

  • i hate my country now i am part of the atc im 17 im ready to join up the only thing stopping me isd the fact i have a beautiful girlfriend and i dont want to fight and give my life for a bunch of dicks that dont even care

  • @foxey112 again sorry to all the true brits who understand this feeling but to you only we can live on for britian

  • the problem is this country has lost its identity there is no pride in the country any more and heaven forbid should we upset a muslim ! most people could not give a **** for the war in afganistan its those of us with sons and family serving there that take notice whats going on and too many british lives have been wasted already mr cameron bring them home now and treat them as heroes for that is what they are.

  • Wonder why Wootton Bassett is now called Royal Wootton Bassett?

  • I was under the impression that the displays of gratitude at Wooton Bassett showed the British pride and respect for the war dead.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Where do you think Wooton Bassett took its cue from?

  • Comment removed

  • Heart warming to see so many people pay their respects. Thank you for sharing.

  • My son served with Bristish forces overseas and he spoke about their courage and bravery in combat. As a Canadian it saddens me to hear that the sacrifice British soldiers have laid on the alter of freedom for all of mankind is so easily dismissed and put aside as not to offend. If you can't stand behind the troops try standing in front of them. Lest we forget

  • @JonathanBateman1 Well, I strongly disagree with your statement "massive obscene displays"...you have no idea how this started - ordinary people, with ordinary lives, paying respect to THEIR fallen dead. If that's a massive obscene display, well, so be it. Sorry to be your brash and grand cousins, but at least we know how to respect our fallen heroes. And you are certainly not humble and respectful, as you have managed to trash a true CANADIAN tradition. Shame on you!

  • pfft was not ment to impress ,as i said in my last post learn to read , were does it say that i am american, I am English , I said I have relatives over in the usa

  • @JonathanBateman1 Well said lad, I dont know why this person is trying to give Britain a lesson, you englishmen and scotsmen are the founders of Canada ( I dont care about the frenchies since they are extremely separatists) and I beleive that we, Canadians owe the Brits since you made this a great nation, proud to be in the commonwealth and I kind of wish we were still in the Empire ( fully controlled) because you guys are better at it, with your chest out and head high.

  • I am so proud to be Canadian

  • @JonathanBateman1 sorry if you think our grief is gawdy, at the lost of another one of our finest fighting a in a war we did not start again, as you may recall when it was Britain against the Reich, Canada was with you from day one, you may not need a lesson about your dedication to your troops but you do need a lesson in MANNERS!!!!!!!

  • @JonathanBateman1 excuse us if you think our grief at losing another one of our finest is gawdy, and brash, i mean your monarchy comes here we treat with respect, and we pay the bill, when it was only Britain left to stand against the third Reich, Canada was there ,you may not think you need a lesson in how to honor your soldiers, but you need a lesson in manners

  • To Johathan Batement 1. I'm sorry you feel our outpouring of grief is a massive obscene display. The families of our fallen Canadian soldiers don't think so - and have said that seeing and knowing other Canadians share their grief and come to honour thier sons, daughters, husbands, brothers and sisters meant a very great deal to them, helping them through the most difficult time in their lives. Please think again Jonathan, your remark was very hurtful.

  • I dont feel embarrased though or ashamed like the video stated I would be

  • im a Brit and have to say I agree this is how it should be done! great turn out! if it was not for a select few and the villiage of wooton bassett here in the uk I honestly dont think people would have battered an eye!

  • Thank you for this Vid! I was in Afghanistan in 2008..Hated it! Hated the ramp ceremonies..hated the comms blackouts..it meant that someone was hurt or killed. I was a Trucker and was on the highways most of the time...I just hated it.Thank you again for the great tribute to the Fallen

  • i think they just the whole world!I SOLUTE YOU CANADA!

  • Why is every one arguing about who gives there/our boys the best send off to the dead soldiers ECT ??? as long as they are given the best respect that there country can give then the job has been done, we are supposed to be on the same side we are allies pull to gether, Every man woman thats out there that dont come back or that does then they are all Heros

  • @JonathanBateman1 fuck you asshat. the highway of heroes was grassroots. no one in the governement or militery organised. it grew out of respect for our soldiers. fuck you and your shit.

  • WTF here is putting Britain to shame? The op has NEVER been to Wootton Bassett. watch the Wootton Bassett, documentary on here cunt.

  • any soldier kia deservs respect no one would gloryfy the death of these heros and god bless those left behind and god save there comrades

  • is this scoring points on the deaths of brave men and women? you should be ashamed of yourself. hang your heads in shame.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972 No it's not about scoring points. It's about a Brit who acknowledges a unique public appreciation and treatment of fallen soldiers..He wants his own servicemen to receive the same kind of appreciation.I'm sure they do in Britain. This particular stretch of hyway in Canada does this. Britain has Wootton Basset.Don't get all weird

  • @tindallpe your probably right

  • Im in the photo at 2:00 and it was the proudest moment of my life to be a Canadian

  • Thank you!

  • Having the occasion to participate in this somber event, I can tell you first hand, if the sadness of it doesn't bring tears to your eyes, the patriotism will.

  • Thanks !

  • Thank you to all of the United States allies, some of the government or citizens may not see it but the United States will always have the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. I am honored to call you a friend and a fellow comrade. I don't think there is a need to argue over how the public reacts to a KIA. There is flaws in every country. Even in the United States could improve on how citizens can't take 20 mins to stand with an American Flag. All Game Some, Some Gave All..

    - California, USA

  • @USAGamingMW2 We're there for you. I served along side you Americans in Afghanistan. Worked together and conducted missions together. In fact I rescued a stranded U.S. Navy Lt. while I was there. From your Cousins up North.

  • @25svbn Hooah, Thank you for your service brother! Welcome home!

  • The moving of ceremony from Wooton B to a specially built memorial ground is shameful. We will for centuries be ashamed at how we take for granted our freedom in the UK.

  • This is what it really looks like. It's not meant to shame any other nation;especially Britain...

    Five Heroes Through Cobourg.mov

  • This is about empathy for the loss of the soldier and the family that will always suffer that loss.A US broadcaster explains it from a less controversial perspective.

U.S. Media Tribute to Highway of Heroes

Canada loves Britain..... and anyone that knows anything about anything will agree. You are the quiet ally...our closest I believe.

  • @JonathanBateman1 As well I'm sure the British people honor their fallen soldiers with the greatest of respect. Your traditions are ancient. You know the significance of this sacrifice and so I would be very surprised and disappointed if they did not receive proper acknowledgement and gratitude. If you can't do it, you don't deserve to live there

  • @JonanBateman1You call the acknowledgement of our war dead as they pass down that stretch of hiway. obscene? We don't do it for attention from foreigners such as yourself. We do it for the families and for the soul of the hero that died for his country. It started as an impulse and it is something I am quite proud to see. The families are grateful and I would imagine your own soldiers would approve.incidentally I have the greatest respect for the British soldier What does it matter what you think?

  • i fucking love canadians gimmie bacon and syrup!

  • @JonathanBateman1 I disagree. The Canucks whole nation is shown in appreciation of their war dead.

  • @Brecconable yes thats the way it should be done. im an irish neutral person looking on.these young men fought for what they believed in and should be treated as the heroes they really are..what would the world be like without men like them...

  • As the mother of a serving soldier and having been to too many UK military funerals I do not agree. We do not need lessons in honouring our war heroes. A.

  • Why should the Brits hang their heads in shame???? This DOES happen in the UK. It really pisses me off when people post videos with moronic & inaccurate statements. This incorrect video should be removed.

  • Speaking as a British Royal Marine Commando, I am certainly proud and not hanging my head in shame. The streets of Wooton Basset were always PACKED when one of our fallen was bought home. And so it will be for Brize etc. But respect to Canada for their honour to their dead. Equals we are always.

  • I still remember the news about Dave Steensma, the first Dutch casualty...Dutch dont get honored like this,i suppose there not enough support overhere....I begin to wonder if we still got BALLS like the British,Canadians and even the French not to mention the US.Respect to all you Brothers in Arms on the job....Stay safe...Respect to all of the coalitions casualties....

  • We do what have to do! Hats off to the men and women who die for us! From Canada with love!

  • fuck muslims

  • @miniviniable ur an idiot u dont even know why the wars in the middle east stareted do u

  • @Bassstylerz100 haha funny one you are yes i do actually..so FUCK OFF

  • My respect and love to all my fallen friends. That is all I want to say.

  • Good to have Canada in your corner.

    Scotland remembers.

  • why is everyone in the comments taking there hats off. its winter time. your'll catch a cold

  • It a terrible loss to lose any troops in battle regardless of their nationality....especialy in this war that was invented by the American policies of world control at any cost!!

  • @ british people

First your government disarms your country in the 90's now they let your country get over run by a bunch of middle easten dickheads sounds like a formula for disaster. I live in the middle of Canada and some muslims were getting offended cause people were saying Merry christmas well guess what happend people told them go fuck themselfs and get out if they don't like it. Then of course they pull the race card haha good call me rastist like we give a fuck.

  • @spitfiremark14 i agree totaly

  • *no longer :/

  • I HATE how little out goverment, and the public care about our BRAVE men and women. For example, i was at my mats house and there was something on the tv about our fallen soldiers and her dad just goes, "turn this crap off, why should we care about stupid people who get them selves killed over there, it's their own fault" I freaked out! and i'm not loner alowed over her house, but i don't regret putting that ignorant twat in his place!! God bless the Military!

  • @ThePitbullMafia i woulda done the same i lose it when people like that disrespect my country or any other countries dead for doing somthing to help there people

  • The british goverment dont give a shit about our boys at war they are just numbers to them.

The goverment only give a shit about the banks and bankers

  • I didn't know how people honor their war dead was a competition.

  • @dasteufelhund lol nil points

  • watching this brought tears to my eyes.hat's off to CANADA!.

  • It makes me angry to see comments such as this video title. Why do we enhance the death of our militia? Surely any death is grief, sadness, to someone who will now miss them. Our troops die because they were sent to die by politicians eager to make gains, usually financial. Presently we have a plethora of warmongering politicians, and they don't ever let their children go to war do they?

Let's not be jingoistic. Let's honour all deaths, even those of our enemies who also didn't want to die.

  • Contentious sentiment, and some very distractive comments. We Brits need feel no shame and we certainly don't need to learn lessons from any country. There is nothing wrong with the way North Americans receive their war dead back, but in Britain we do it the way we always have, very respectfully, very quietly, and very personally.

A salute, a flag, any outward sign is quite trite without the inner emotion. We do not need to wear our hearts on our sleeves, as long as we deal with the grief.

  • well my town has only lost one serviceman, you know who that is? LORD HUGH DOWDING!!!!! YEAH BIG UP MOFFAT!

  • You might not do as the Canadians do, but your soldiers and losses are no less than ours. Each fallen British soldier deserves the memory and respect of your people as well as those of your allies.

  • There is so much I wish I could say but I would run the risk of being arrested just for speaking the truth. Yes I am ashamed to be British.

  • well iv been out of uniform 12 years now ! i told my farther when i came home that with in 25 years there will be a civil war in the uk or even ww3 keep pushing the british we are told stiff upper lip chins up,,, and eventually the shit will hit the fan , not long in coming now !

  • @MrTedwise How bloody dare you. We honour our dead with all due respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SyKerry grow up get a life , read what the vid says about the uk about our dead then when you'v got ya head out of your arse read again what iv put and you will see the bigger picture uk and there allies eg usa , canada oz to name a few , iv been there twice Have you ??? if you have then you can comment

    *walk out door laughing*

  • @john79341 does it say any thing in my post about facing the americans !!! after you have learnt to read, come back through the door with your cap in hand eating humble pie , iv worked along side american soldiers , i even have family out on west coast so your right pfffft you are done

  • @MrTedwise pfft that doesnt empress me at all thanks a though your american so i not going to talk to you fithy yanks

  • @MrTedwise

id agree mate. were getting mugged off proper at the moment.

  • That's not right. I will paraphrase a good quote I heard not long ago..you may not agree with what war our government sends our soldiers into, but they themselves still deserve your respect. And if you cannot stand behind our soldiers, then may you stand in front of them. Your cowardice shows when you take out your anger and frustration on those that don't deserve it, and walk away from the fight with those that do. Like I said..paraphrase, I may have muffed it up. Hats off to the British too.

  • This country is a fucking disgrace! Soldiers put their lives on the line in a foreign country, not even fighting to save their own country and they still can't wear there uniform! That is a fucking joke! If I ever seen a Muslim or anyone for that matter abusing/or feel offended because of the uniform then they should be told to pack their bags and fuck off. Soldiers should be given the most respect in society. This country is far to soft, protects foreigners more than its own people!

  • Hats off to the Brits and the Americans. I served along side both in Afghanistan. Of the 90 or so countries in Kandahar Air Field only Canadians, Americans and Brits went outside the wire.

  • @25svbn That's not true and I'm not even in the forces. What about the documentary armadillo, of the Danish troops in combat in Afghanistan or the videos on youtube of the German army on patrol.

  • @25svbn Australians?

  • @25svbn I am talking about Kandahar province. The doc you saw about the Danish troops takes place in Helemund province and the Germans are stationed in the north near Kabul.

  • @25svbn well said this man!

  • From Saskatchewan--hats off!

  • @spinaway, don't blame it on Left Wing people. Canada is, for the most part, a socialist country and we're fine. We have borders that we strictly control because of the general dislike for Americans giving North Americans a bad name. We have immigration laws that are more strict than the American's. I have a very strict mentality for when it comes to Immigration and the foreign buying of our assets (China being the main one). Immigration from China should be banned in my opinion. Lefty = Not Bad

  • @Ryhnhart well Just wait till the Islamification Of canada starts which it will sooner or later, Then you will change your tune, In Britain Left = No rights for Brits.

  • @spinaway I know what you mean by islamafication i am informed about what's happening in the UK and Europe. Just awful. However, i think (and I would hope) that our lib governments would have a spine about it. Like the other commenter said, our politics aren't extreme on the political spectrum, but central. The honour killings that have happened here have been given life sentences.

  • @okokwegetit22 The Trouble with The Lefties in Britain is they are cowards, in Britaain you can be arrested for anything deemed inflammatory against any ethnic minority, Yet The muslims are allowed without recourse to demonstrate against our soldiers returning from Afghanistan calling them murderers and so on, Yet if we demonstrate against this we are arrested, look for a paperback called Londonistan, It is compelling reading and explains how we came to be in this mess.

  • @spinaway Yeah my boyfriend is studying in the UK right now and he just can't believe it. There's only so much you can tolerate until multiculturalism in the literal sense becomes an absolute failure.Time to take your country back before it's gone. I hear there's an islamic party in spain yikes.

  • @okokwegetit22 The Scary Thing is People can see whats happening here But the majority just bury there head in the sand and pretend its not there, as for the rest who stand up and say something they are demonised and branded racist only this morning there was a debate on the bbc saying that because of our diverse multicultre we should no longer be a christian country and the queen should not be the head of the church, i fear its too late for us, You still have a chance, good luck
