Eve is shit and repetative, all mmorpg games that are released in the first year always look shit, but star trek has alot of potential and has such a huge fan base that if its fans subscribe to the game the improvemnets will be phenomenal

Yes, I can see how fleet fights are repetative. I mean... everyone always brings the same ships + fittings. Nothing ever changes. Pirates warn you when they're about to attack. There are no suprises in EVE. It's boring.

Some players would argue that people without the capacity for imagination shouldn't play EVE, and I would tend to agree.

eve has no versatility at all, the way to be the best person in the game is decided by how much time you play it so if you play it for 5 years your gonna have a good ship your fate is already decided there is no mystery so how can you use an imagination.

from what I have heard you predetermine the ammount of energy from your capacitor that goes into phaser banks and shields, and yes you can walk around your bridge and board other player's ships for combat

But if you can get your reutation up, That will be able to you to get more ships, I'm guessing they will be sticking to the Alliances that were still in the Namesis Movie, So if your Klingon you'll be mainly fighting your enemys, but that don't restrict you from attacking the federation, Or anyother factions, but i strongly dout it will be free, If it is that'll be good, They want everyone to be able to play, But the graphics will be huge, you either need to upgrade or buy a new computer.

It is somewhat 20 Years after the Nemesis Movie, But yeah the ships will be mostly better, and more stylish as it were, But the real thing is that you can choose a race or create your own, So even though you could choose a main race, But the game will probably be ruined by everyone wanting to be tactical on someone elses ship, You'll start off a midshipmen, Or somewhat, So it will be quite good grathics and I dout it will be free, But i hear just like TNG Or others that there will be no ecomony

Na from what i have heared from cryptic you be see'ing older ships in this game. At least really old ships like those and from the kirk era.

I think they are basing this like 20 years ahead of the Nemesis movie. So The Galaxie and Sov class ships are old . Even tho the ship in this preview looks like a Sov its not so cryptic said.

I know one thing tho is they better allow older ships in this game or i feal it will fail quickly just like klingon academy it let you use old ships.

I think sandbox is about the only way the game can be successful honestly. Relegating it to the way most current MMO's go, with progression, tiers, and such for a game like this would be rather pointless, as anything they did, or planned, would likely be ripped to shreds by fans even before they'd played it.

hy there, no, it is a MMORPG, it needs internet connection, and the PS3 has what, 10 buttons? In a normal MMORPG you have numbers 0-10 with the action bar and keys such as "c" for inventory exct., so even with an internet connected PS3 it would not be possibly to optimize it to work on consoles.
