@Haktsu Seems like each faction is getting a unique flying vehicle. They've equipped Mossys with rocket pods, as shown on the TR video, and there's that Scythe that is DEFINITELY VS specific.

Think that's deliberate. In the first Planetside their equipment had a definite AD2000 look, like the gear was cobbled together from scrap. Wearing mining equipment as part of their standard armour? Fits right in with the original design afaict.

@MonChrMe NC isn't all about being a bunch of ragged ass guerillas. NC has lots of the CEOs back from Earth, which means a lot of money. These CEOs also hire mercenaries, that could easily be justified to have better armor.

I love NC, but this hobo-gear is really putting me off :/

@RavenwolfFoxtrack Do you mean in gameplay or in its goals? I always had a hard time with NC, in relation to gameplay. I found it far easier to fight when using TR weapons. (And most people I met in NC acted like jackasses, to me.) :(

@Haktsu to be honest, now of days its hard to say, I could do TR and it was fine, and the NC was a bit harder to play as due to the weapons and being nerfed a bit, but the vanguard and the phoenix were some of the better weapons in the game overall as far as their class was concerned. however, after playing as NC a lot, I go to playing the TR and using the cycler became way easy because after using the gauss rifle, your aim tends to improve as well as trigger control.

NC is the ugly child this time around. TR was the ugly one in PS1, but now they get 2nd best. Of course, Vanu will always the the beautiful, precise, and deadly as hell faction. We are the favored children of T-Ray!

Though, some feedback! I see that that the vehicles look really good but they need some more "armor", a good example is the Reaver. It looks as if you stuck some metal a machine gun and some rockets to it :( and the front looks too bulked while the back doesnt look as much. What id suggest is:

1. Get some more "armor" on those vehicles. Maybe it wont give any extra protection, but it would definitely look much better and cool.

2. Add smthng to the tail (back)
