If you read reference it via wikipedia as opposed to the 'loaded' sites, you will find that although he had a dislike of church heirarchy and catholicism in particular, he still believed in god, jesus and their mission for society. This isn't that big of a deal. After the rapture, at the appointed time, the 7 year tribulation period will begin. The tribulation will literally be hell on earth. IT will be thousands of times worse than today. Most of Israel will then repent and believe in the messiah. Jesus says that until national Israel believes in Him, Jesus will return.
@Nashhinton Acturally, we don't know just how soon the Tribulation period will begin. It could be days, weeks or even years AFTER the Rapture. The Tribulation will start when the antichrist "signs, strengthens or confirms" a peace treaty with Israel. Then, and only then does God's time clock start. The 1st 3 1/2 years of His Judgments, then the 3 1/2 years of His Wrath. You're right about the "appointed time".

Can anyone answer me this. Where in the bible does it quote that we will go to Heaven when we die? Why does it say Matthew 6:10, "Thy Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven." Have we been falsely taught that we will go to Heaven when we die? John 3:13 No man has ascended to Heaven. Why would Yah raise up the dead from there graves at the last trumpet if they were in Heaven? 1 Corinthians 15:52. When is the last trumpet Revelations 11:15. I used to be an Atheist until God healed me giving me another chance to live. God came in flesh to save all of humanity from the destruction. None of the people in the days on Noah believed him when he warned of the great flood, but the waters came. Our time will come as well, whether it be by natural causes, or the judgement of God. I encourage you to watch the series by Chuck Missler on the rapture here on youtube he can show you via scripture where the Bible clearly teaches of a time before "The Great Tribulation" when The Lord will meet us in the air and we will forever be with him. Actually the second coming of Christ will be in 2 events. The first event will be the snatching away of the Church (rapture). Then the great tribulation will occur. There will be millions of people who will come to believe in Christ during this tribulation, too. It will last 7 yrs. (84 months). Then Christ & His Saints (Church) will come down to earth & reign for a 1000 yrs. Satan will be bound in hell during this peaceful time.
Then after this 1000 yrs. of total peace, satan will be loosed for a little "season." He will go to deceive the nations and all the unbelievers, haters of God, etc. etc. basically all the wicked on earth. The wicked will encircle the camp of the Saints; fire will come down from God out of heaven and devour the wicked. Rev. 20:9. Then judgement day for all people.
Let me be sure I am crystal-clear about this one. Jesus will appear in the sky, take some people away, then over 1000 years, some but not all humans will come to believe in Jesus too. Is this correct so far?
So who, exactly, are the people who'll witness this astonishing thing and then NOT believe in Jesus? Im sure if I saw a thousands of people in the sky conducted by a towering shining figure, I wouldn't be likely to discount it and just carry on. I'd be, like, you know, repentant. And stuff.
according to the Bible only believers will "See" Him when He returns for the "Bride" of Christ. For you it will seem as though there was some sort of horrific natural phenomena that can be easily explained away and will be.
Most likely as an alien abduction or some such thing The way you will know is that all the crazy-ass stupid Christians will be gone. And you...?
Well He will appear, but it will be so fast that people who are left behind won't realize it at first. How fast can we blink our eyes? It will be that fast. (1 Corinthians 15:51). I do believe that mankind will have chances to repent & believe in Jesus during Tribulation. I do believe mankind will have chances to repent & believe in Jesus during His 1000 year reign. But some people are wicked & unbelieving & will turn Him (the Lord) away. Just my belief on this.
There actually COULD possibly be 2 raptures. One during pre-trib the other during mid-trib, this all preceding the 2nd coming. But I would go the first time in the pre-trib to be safe, and not bank on the mid trib.

In v. 13-14 Paul says that Jesus Christ will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus the v. mentioned are connected to

There is a pre- rapture and there is a 2nd coming. The 2 are totally different in meaning. The rapture will happen 1st in the twink of an eye, then after 7 years Christ will come back to defeat the anti-christ, hereafter after 1000 years the great white throne judgement.
v.15 the same word is used coming #3952 parousia referring to the 2nd coming again there is only "one" 2nd coming v. 16 Paul speaks of descend with from with a shout that pretty loud for secret rapture, the trumpet of God is connected to Matthew 24:31, the dead in Christ is the resurrection of the righteous v. 17 speaks of those who alive at He's 2nd coming not at the rapture to meet the Lord in the air v. 18 We must comfort one another with these words.
So in conclusion you say rapture 1 Thess 4:16-18 but when you read it in context the chapter itself is speaking of the 2nd coming because the word parousia found anywhere in the Bible refers to 2nd coming not rapture.

If you read reference it via wikipedia as opposed to the 'loaded' sites, you will find that although he had a dislike of church heirarchy and catholicism in particular, he still believed in god, jesus and their mission for society. This apparently stemmed from an incident in the trenches in the first world war. He also did deals with the bishop of berlin to keep quiet about the holocaust, which god also did nothing about.

This isn't that big of a deal. After the rapture, at the appointed time, the 7 year tribulation period will begin. The tribulation will literally be hell on earth. IT will be thousands of times worse than today. Most of Israel will then repent and believe in the messiah. Jesus says that until national Israel believes in Him, Jesus will return.

@Nashhinton Acturally, we don't know just how soon the Tribulation period will begin. It could be days, weeks or even years AFTER the Rapture. The Tribulation will start when the antichrist "signs, strengthens or confirms" a peace treaty with Israel. Then, and only then does God's time clock start. The 1st 3 1/2 years of His Judgments, then the 3 1/2 years of His Wrath. You're right about the "appointed time".

Scripture does not affirm the latter belief. 1 COR 15:51b,51a, refers to HOW QUICKLY the BODIES (Sleep or Wake) will be CHANGED from corruption to incorruption / mortal to immortal. The being "CAUGHT UP" (1 THESS 4:16,17) is a TIME lapsed, ORGANIZED (no chaos), PHYSICAL, VISUAL EVENT. NO SIGNS will precede this event. None of us know when we will die.
None of the people in the days on Noah believed him when he warned of the great flood, but the waters came. Our time will come as well, whether it be by natural causes, or the judgement of God. Unless the lord raptures us, we will see death one way or another. The most important thing is to have our sins forgiven and to come to God just as we are, out of love from our hearts toward him for giving us life. We need the remedy for sin and God has provided that.

I picked up my cross and live for God 24/7....Do you go to church on Sunday, do you go out on Halloween, is Christmas a big deal for you, do you make a nice big ham for Easter? If you do, read your bible it talks about it :) bad people will beg to die and hide in caves, not people like me. I encourage you to watch the series by Chuck Missler on the rapture here on youtube he can show you via scripture where the Bible clearly teaches of a time before "The Great Tribulation" when The Lord will meet us in the air and we will forever be with him. Actually the second coming of Christ will be in 2 events. The first event will be the snatching away of the Church (rapture). Then the great tribulation will occur. There will be millions of people who will come to believe in Christ during this tribulation, too. It will last 7 yrs. (84 months). Then Christ & His Saints (Church) will come down to earth & reign for a 1000 yrs. Satan will be bound in hell during this peaceful time.

I do believe that mankind will have chances to repent & believe in Jesus during Tribulation. I do believe mankind will have chances to repent & believe in Jesus during His 1000 year reign. There actually COULD possibly be 2 raptures. One during pre-trib the other during mid-trib, this all preceding the 2nd coming. But I would go the first time in the pre-trib to be safe, and not bank on the mid trib.

This is getting old so, believe what you want. I could say the same thing in that all unbelievers in a pre-trib dont want to cover 1 thessalonians 4:16-18. Also we are still 1 church and 1 bride here, we are just taken 7 years prior to the 2nd coming.

The word coming #3952 parousia is mentioned referring to the 2nd coming and there is "one" 2nd coming not unless you believe in two 2nd comings which Jesus Christ never spoke of in the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke.

There is a pre- rapture and there is a 2nd coming. The 2 are totally different in meaning. The rapture will happen 1st in the twink of an eye, then after 7 years Christ will come back to defeat the anti-christ, hereafter after 1000 years the great white throne judgement.

So in conclusion you say rapture 1 Thess 4:16-18 but when you read it in context the chapter itself is speaking of the 2nd coming because the word parousia found anywhere in the Bible refers to 2nd coming not rapture.
