  • one of my most unforgettable opera experiences:), maybe the greatest, most important.

  • Isnt Simon a great singer:)???

  • I love this duet, I don't think it could be sung any better. The only thing that bothers me about it is in the end it seems like Simon loses the look of love in his eyes and face the last minute or so of the song. Marlis does as well, but not to the extent that Simon does. Of course that's really being critical of a minute thing, but I still listen to this all the time.

  • @theoperaman02 If you think this is good, you really must see Keenlyside with Natalie Dessay. Effortless, sublime, everything this duet is lacking. With Dessay's Ophelia, you can really believe that Keenlyside's Hamlet will love her until the stars and sun fall from the sky. Search for it under "Natalie Dessay as Ophelia (1)." A rare treat.

  • i really envy her:-)

  • this is such a romantic duett :-)

    and Simon is so handsome:-)

  • Excellent performance. Simon´s lyric baritone is expressive and well controlled, Marlis has a delicate voice and perfect technique. Thanks, Leporello, for posting !!!

  • thank you so much !!!!
