China has learned what not to do from the mistakes the West has made. They will not debase their currency.
It's illogical to think they will keep on working to subsidize our lifestyle., when it's becoming more and more apparent they might not get their money back. They will, first and foremost,,investing at home.
Eventually they will be able to consume--they will enjoy the fruits of their labor. They will not, however, forsake saving.
My point is that China, in the near future, will not commit the mistakes the US and Western Europe has made. You might not agree but I think the Chinese economy will grow.
There will be a time when, just like all other great civilizations and Empires of the past, China will institute policies that will lead to their fall. For now, however, they're on the upswing.
If China allowed precious metals to act as money they will see prosperity again. According to Max Keiser, China still doesn't have a lot of gold bullion. Until they do they are stuck with the dollar.
WOW 30 million unemployed. What a shameful people we have become in this country, where we have more people getting free food than they do who are not working.
How can these news castors even read these scripts without vomiting on set for this pathetic display where they declare that china needs to sell to us.
Beats the hell out of 10% unemployment in California, 8% nationwide, which are probably a low-ball figures. It's ironic, but we may have a higher number of unemployed here, if not now, then before the end of the year. And we only have something on the order of 200 million workers here, not 900 million. Of course, who knows if China's govt figures are any more truthful than ours.

The U.S. also has a higher percentage of its population in prison than any other nation. Are we really more evil than everyone else or just stupid? When I look at the U.S.'s deficit spending, debased currency, aggressive foreign policy and so on, I'd have to say that, generally speaking, we're stupid. The "Land of the Free" has become the land of the relatively free. And "relatively free" isn't saying much.
In addition, Chinese immigration workers own land properties. The worst scenario is for them to farm and live in rural areas. The problem I concerned is about those college students.

How cute. That expert thinks in 50 years our economy will still be strong.
I have a big news flash for everyone:
we can't just be "one of the guys" and have the economic superpower we have today.
We will be forced, almost at economic gunpoint, to give up our hold as a reserve currency.
There will be fixed prices and heavy government intervention, but by then, we would have seen 650,000 job losses x 12...
