In the underwater scenes the car comes under attack from two divers on underwater sleds. Apparently these are referred to as Atlantis gun sleds and have featured at Bond exhibitions alongside the car and yet there is no mention of these in movie reviews or in the James Bond Encylopedia i got for xmas last year. And yet they feature both prominently in the these scenes and on promotional material alongside the Shark Hunter Wet Sub.

Typical of 1960s-70's PROPS DEPARTMENT(Vehicle),special effects had Switched the cars(Like in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,Herbie,Knight rider)-When car was in water?-Wheels turn up and fenderwheels close with those fins slide out? C'mon,Even that Batmobile was lot more believable than this-theres Waaaaay too much moving parts around inside that DINKY little RWD car-

While the newest Bond (Daniel Craig) may be praised as the best Bond since Connery due to his performance, for me, without the gadgets and gadget cars that had become such a part of Bond up to that time, something just seemed to be missing-- Craig certainly has the acting chops to fit into the 007 role, but something just seems lost in the effort to retain "realism". Not that "Casino" and "Quantum" were bad, far from it, just there was something not quite as good about them as the older ones.

I've done diving with SCUBA tanks and each time I fall the sea in it scares the sh*t out of me that I can breath underwater for a few moments...

Don't want to be a prick, but the first comment is right. If you are going to film your TV (which is a no no), at the very least try to center the camera on the TV. And zoom into it. And keep it focused.

mine too! I watched the new Bond "Quantum of whatever" and in the beginning there is a similar car chase, near the sea, BUT....without the car splashing into the water and without the car turning into a submarine and without the car firing any rockets....just a plain car chase.

I was SO disappointed!!

I love the old Bond films and especially this one. thanks for uploading.
