@rhda8386 I'm pretty sure it was a surprise. Back then, the only spoilers out there would have come from Soap Opera Digest. Not sure how well kept a secret this was ...

Stewie was always so soft spoken. I met him and he is such a sweetie. And awfully missed. The recent death is pretty bad compared to this fake one. But It was 22 yrs ago and the writing was different. So go figure.
