I guess a safe bet, if you could not afford gold or silver, would be rolls of pennies, the copper in the pennies will have more value than paper money, and if nothing happens you can take them to the bank, and turn them into dollars again, zero risk.

If the value of a metal is based off its industrial uses..by that logic - iron and aluminum,copper, stainless steel are worth more than silver or gold.
If JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs control the market values of these precious metals, then its no good to invest in these shiny metals.. Invest in land, livestock, productive farmland, fish farms etc.. you cant eat gold..Silver is great for infections! They are very easy to grow, you can find instructions on youtube, & you won't have to worry about folks stealing stuff fr your garden or weird weather damaging crops. It's very easy to do. Folks can stock up on seeds & trays fr sprouthouse, growingmicrogreens or sproutpeople websites.

I just read a report on Reuters about China getting their Kimonos in a bunch because the United States is trying to pass a bill mandating that China and other countries allow the US Dollar to rise in global value that, in turn, would reduce the value of Chinese currency "in lieu of" the dollar collapsing and devaluation sparking investor panic. China responded with a threat of a trade war.
If people's function in society are only going to be driven by money, then they'd rather not be born. It doesn't make sense to have life just for the sole purpose of earning money. Do we continue this cycle of chasing money from birth till death? Do we hold unto this continuous cycle of acquisition leading to greed? If we choose this, then I think we are going to have this problem we are facing rear its head down the line again.
People who end up not contributing ave either been indoctrinated into this dependency system or have so many failures in the current system as to have given up trying. I appreciate your videos.I have definitely started prepping. Don't know if you have covered this before, but folks can grow sprouts & microgreens in their homes & have a constant supply of fresh veggies. They are very easy to grow, you can find instructions on youtube, & you won't have to worry about folks stealing stuff fr your garden or weird weather damaging crops. It's very easy to do. Folks can stock up on seeds & trays fr sprouthouse, growingmicrogreens or sproutpeople websites.

The Soviet collapse was huge relative to many (and they were better prepared for it than us), but that collapse itself was also not some doomsday or anything near it.

I agree with you Demcad I think there will be a new environment and it will suck for a while though. I mean if we can take anything out of watching Argentine and Greece's economy collapse it won't be good and that is I guess the growing pains to this transition. I am slowly stocking up on food thanks to you and a few others I need to get a bit more organized with it though, but thanks for all the info so far.

I've appreciated your candor and personal perspective. Great stuff! I was wondering if you have ever heard of Damon Vrabel? If you get a chance and can find it on youtube still, his video series entitled "Debunking Money" is a must! I'd love to hear you do a video review of his work. He says the "capital machine" is moving its tentacles to the southern hemisphere and that a balancing act of availability of capital/credit is occuring throughout the world. Really a MUST watch
