To all those who believe that this movie is a ripoff of 1408. You have just once again proven why most Europeans thinks that Americans are incredibly stupid.

The only two things that connects the two movies are the fact that both movies includes a room and the names. And since the movie is originally named "Kollegiet" (The college) the name thing is out of the picture. And thousands of horror movies includes rooms so are they all just remakes of 1408?

Have you even seen 1408? Or this film? They have absolute nothing in common at all. 1408 is about a room in a hotel that drives people insane enough to commit suicide. Room 205 is about a girl moving into a college and in an accident releases a revengeful ghost that goes around killing the inhabitants. There is really nothing in common between them at all.

I agree with that 1408 was better although i thought it to be a disappointment (and to those who favour the american voted by ending: Come on?! Have you absolutely no taste? Once again you prove the rest of the world right in its view on most americans). But that doesn't make this movie bad. This i a reasonable good horror movie. But for gods sake, watch it in danish with subtitles!!! Its a crime against taste and quality to watch movies duped! Only kids do that in Denmark.

The american remakes of the Japanese horror masterpieces are the second greatest crime USA have done against Japan, only the unnecessary nuclear attacks in 1945 was worse! Grow up and accept that a film doesn't have to be made or duped in the USA to be good. In fact, its often the opposite.

USA remakes of foreign movies are notoriously know to be extremely lousy. If you watch a movie duped then you get no sense of the acting and trust me, the danish actors are far better than the americans who duped the movie. Many good danish, japanese, german and spanish movies reputation have been destroyed in the USA because you turned fantastic movies into shitty remakes.

A writer who travels the country debunking hauntings tries to prove the story is just to get pubilicty for the hotel. Read the story before watching the movie. The story is much better than the movie, in my opinion.
