What I said before is not to blame northern Europeans, but the politicians who have allowed speculation to balloon out to the stratosphere and, very especially, banks that have taken advantage of hugely high prices of property. It is common knowledge that people who want to set up businesses in Spain will get no loans from banks, even though they have been bailed out at great cost to the tax-payer. They are the scourge of the earth. Please, investigate the property market in southern Europe.

Talking from a southern European's point of view, you in the USA don't realise to what point people from the north (esp. Germans and Britons) helped create the property bubble buying property in places like Spain, Italy and Greece. You should consider that issue some time. It's huge. In Spain, for instance, native people from any population on/near the Mediterranean coast cannot buy a home there, prices have skyrocketed. Rents too. Natives forced to live in big industrial towns.

The question is if really capitalism comes to an end ,what 's going to replace it,I hope it's something better...It feels like a lot of things will change during this decade.
