I would love to see the doctor send one of these in the new series. Judging by their current appearance, it would look awesome to see them assemble.

Neil Gaiman wrote this coming Saturday's episode of Doctor Who ("The Doctor's Wife"). He had hinted that he would bring back "something" that hasn't been seen since the 1969 episode "The War Games". Judging by the preview at the end of last week's episode, this scene may be what he was talking about.
