I'm an eternal MSX fan and 15 year long MSXer , .... discovering this game on NES is a surprise for me and I must admit it looks better , sure , but the look of the MSX game is the one of my childhood one and can't be replaced by another . Glad to hear the sounds are the same EXACTLY.

Too bad this didn't get a U.S. release... I mean, people would have loved this! just re-do those cross tiles and replace any other imagery, and it could have been a hit.

The graphics are nice but this version is a joke compare to the msx one. While the graphics are better the game is two time shorter (5 world against 10 for the msx).

The MSX version of Knightmare II is better, though this one's pretty good too.

The MSX version is called Knightmare II: Maze of Galious, while the NES version is just Knightmare II.

I never played the NES version, thanks for the speedrun :) it looks indeed as if the MSX version has less bugs.

This is a radically different port of the MSX original. I wish that MSX were on US' VC so people could play this.
