sure! I use 2nd's a lot!

in the case of Cmajor, you play C/D/E/G

a major chord is 1st/3rd/and 5th

so you're adding the D which is 2nd

i usually only do this with the right hand

keeping the left had to play bass or

the notes you want to emphasize...

the 2nd is a light ornamentation.

I figured it out by ear. but there is a tutorial here on youtube...I play it differently than he does. and if you look it up on line, it's very simplistic...there are lots of 2nds that create dissonance. Looking back I should have done it better...but you never think anyone will actually watch these things...:)
