  • best live album ever

  • very nicely done. you should be very proud. I can't believe anybody would have less than a very positive response to your playing. don't listen to those wanabees.

  • nicely played love the tone

  • Ampeg ADA 6 plexi and SVT crancked or Catalinbread SFT

Keith's solo best defined and better touch ,Taylor's good too but faster and touch is fantasticThat's enough good job

    Thanks for share

  • Keith is a great guitarist, but some of his solos sound like he uses number 8 wire for strings. Mick Taylor is the man here, his brilliance in undeniable

  • Wwwhat a wasteman..

  • @sk8rasta he deserves both

  • この曲大好きです!

    歌詞もあれですけどキースのギターがかっこいいー♪

  • do yo have tabs for it ??

  • @SnippoX360 Mick Taylor Followed this solo. Keith was first up.

  • The Taylor parts are a little harder then the Keith parts, eh?

  • any chance you could do a note by note lesson on this?? would love it...ive got parts but cant nail alot of the middle and end

  • is this guitar a gibson sg?

  • @paruto says on his comments it's an epiphone SG

  • @Ctadeo cool

  • Nice job!

  • keep up the good work I really enjoyed this.

    thanks for sharing

  • You need to work on dynamics.

  • Great solo.

    What effects are you using?

  • DAMN! Well done!

  • boy¡ you play just like the fucking devil man¡¡¡ so fucking well.

  • if keith watchs you play that solo he wouldn´t be happy at all... too much fingers, too fast, but no soul and no taste in it... better the taylor part

  • very tasty playing my man!!!!!

  • your awsome!!!..hey do u have tabs 4 this song????

  • wow! Great!

  • nice job!

  • ギタータブをご覧ください! (guitar tabs please!)

  • Awesome cover man.

You don't have tabs for this do you?

  • Keiths thoughts after playing this song at this concert...

  • haha probably!

  • You deserve a Les Paul.

    then it would be perfect.

  • 5 stars!the best cover of this song!!keep rockin'!!!!!!!

  • oops, didn't read your description.

  • Nice lookin' SG! Is it a Gibson?

  • You are the man! I wish we had you in our band back in 1969. You have Richrars' groove and Taylor's drive. Just impressive.

  • 6 stars

    sht that was sick!!!

  • great man

  • is that a gibson sg ?

  • Best cover.. 5*****

Look for my honky tonk and paint it black cover !!!! thanks

  • man of great taste.

  • please if u got tabs, put it in ur discription or something, all versions i have found is crap

  • Actually you're the dipshit, because in another video he says that it's an epiphone

  • fuck that was good!

  • SG渋い。5/5

  • i love this cover

  • Pleased to meet ya.....hope ya guess my name

  • Perfect!!!

  • Thank you.Keep on rocking.

  • :o cool guitar

  • nice sg

  • yeah, is that a real gibson, or an epiphone?

  • gibson dibshit

  • Epiphone, the pickups are too muddy to be real burstbuckers, but epiphones are just like real gibsons, no matter who says what!

  • i think i'm gonna spend time on your video to learn this solo i used to play KRichards 's one upper on the neck! What is your tunning?(1/2 ton down)

  • great!!!This is the solo i like best!!!played on an ampeg guitar it should be greater too!

  • you are really good on guitar this solo is great.exellent video!

  • creo k se toca mucho mas abajo esas notas pero bueno...

  • incredible. And from my favorite stones album of all time

  • Oh shit! Thats so awsome! You should try to do songs from Disturbed! You rock!

  • Excellent. Thanks, I have been working on the solo by ear for a while and this helps nailing it down. Incredible how good E pentatonic can be in the right hands.

  • wow ur fucking awesome. note for note!

  • Watxhed it again and I take it back, he is dead on.

  • you make Keiths solo look so hard when it is really easy lol

and Micks is hard but you make it look easy lol

    weird lol

  • me parece q no son las notas...

    igual tocas bien

  • Awesome job Daddio!

  • I LOVE this solo btwn Ricards and Taylor ,

from the ya ya's live album, you have worked it out nearly perfect , a 10 from me mate,BTW is your guitar standard tuning or open G?

  • One of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Take a bow, you are mick taylor incarnate. Unbelievably wonderful job. Flawless. Wow.

  • Good job on Keith's part but the sliding 6ths get a little loose as he begins Taylor's solo. All in all a solid effort. That album has some of the best guita playing ever, Mick Taylor busts out some screamers on Strat Cat Blues. At his best few can match his fluidity and attack.

  • My #1 Favorite song of all time.

  • Yeah! I like this!

  • this is awesome!! mick taylor did a great job with the stones but i dont think this is the best solo from sympathy. the job keith did at the steel wheels tour is just a tan better if ya ask me. of cause the sound quality from the 60's makes it a little unfair to judge but still i wouldt give the edge to keith if you take his work on the steel wheels tour. but hey just my opinion guys ;)

  • but where can i find that solo from the steel wheel tour? is that from live at the max?

  • yeah thats the one ;) also on the one from atlantic city he pulls of a great work

  • yeah, he's doing a good job there! and we all know that keith isn't the best and fastest guitarist in the world. but he is one of the best writers ever born together with Mick.. GLIMMERTWINS

  • yeah and i think that very few peoble actualy realise how good keith is. i mean there are very few succesful coverbands of the stones and i think keith have a great part in that. oh and btw all ya peoble saying that the best line up was with richards and taylor i can only agree. sure ronny is good but he aint no mick taylor ;) sad he didn't get time to show his skills

  • yes, your right about keith. maybe he isn't very good technical, he has a special gift. he can thngs other guitarist can't, althow he isn't as fast as joe satriani:P. keith is the best.

and ronnie isnt as good as mick taylor. if the stones play songs live like 'shine a light' or 'sway'' you can see that ronnie doesn't play micks solo's as good as mick.

  • yeah also on ''cant you hear me knocking'' live ronnie only does a average job compared to mick taylor on the studio recording

  • But didn't Keith Richards play this solo?

  • keith played the first part of the solo. in this video is keith's solo til 1.20 minutes. after that the solo is mick taylor's one

  • WOW love it

  • love it :)

  • I've allways been told that these solo's were recorded in the studio, and dubbed in the live album afterwards... If so, they could have hired you in! Great job.

  • Mick Taylor kicked Keef's ass. Insecure druggie. You could kick Keef's ass too kid.

  • yeah i watched the live video for this song on dvd and keef looks gob smacked because he has just showed him right up i was gob smacked when i first heard this solo

  • where can i see this videos?please it's the best solo i ever heard!!!

  • Brian Jones kicked all their asses.

  • TRUE THAT !!!

  • Shit man... Ur good

  • congratulations. that was very good. great to see what the actual notes being played are. quite simply the solos on this record are THE best guitar solos ever.

  • I agree with you!!!

  • yup, you just cant beat those guitar solos. moments of rock genious!! this guys done very well to play them. wish i could!

  • i agree with you!

  • ouaouuuuuu play is achievable, but recreating the spirit is not easy. The devil is behind every notes

  • waooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

    very famous man

we are into the NY's fillmore east

  • good work :P

  • Great playing man! 5*

  • does anyone have any idea where i could get the tab for either keith or micks solo? i cant seem to find them, and they are my favorite solos ever. i want to learn them so bad. please anyone help me out.

  • That is simply satanic, in a good way!

Best song ever on a historic, theological level and the rest, awesome guitar i can only do air

  • sick loving the SG

  • dirty, spped,...nervious,...

    Like a Rolling Stone!!!

  • Great solo! But next time please use less distortion, and tune the G string!

  • dude that solo was awesome, the distortion was perfect

  • AWESOME! TOTALLY AWESOME!!

Mick Taylor and Keef would be proud of you dude.

That was amazing. Wish I could do that.

  • Great performance, Hey! man, you a real little Mick Taylor...

  • PERFECT!

  • super...after 20 years I still love this version of sympathy for the devil from the live "Get yer ya-ya's Out". Thanks for your performance

  • You sound like Mick Taylor-Ha! Seriously, nice note-for-note attempt at that one. You really picked a great solo as I have also loved that one for a long time. It's the one off of "Get Your Ya Yas Out" right?

  • You fokin ruled that.

  • félicitations!!

  • Nice job for the first 1:20. Stick with Keith's leads. Some of Taylor's leads are too technically difficult for even good guitarists to replicate. Taylor plays extremely smooth and you can hear every note clearly. Not many missed notes even when he goes on very fast runs. His string bending is world class.

  • Nice work from a major favourite solo i haved hummed since Maths class on a cold melbourne morning back in the 70's! Good days

  • Get your Ya's Ya's Out

  • what album can this version be found on?

  • I believe it's called Beggar's Banquet, but you can always google it to find out :c /

  • Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out.

  • Awesome play! You perfectly cover it.

  • That is really beautiful! Awesome!!

  • Dude, that gets a "10" from me and I'm a tough cookie to crack. It's one of my favourite solos of all time and major kudos to you for posting this. I've stolen loads of licks from this solo over the years but never played the whole thing. Your SG really nails the fat tone too. It's such a shame that MT is such a sad pathetic has-been who seems to churn out Stones songs at obscure blues festivals. He's best remembered as the blonde haired prettyboy genius of the Stones golden period.

  • nice dude

    nice guitar

  • Who's solo is it more of? Mick Taylor or Keith Richards? Don't have any video of them in action on this song. The middle of the song has to be Keith when he slowly goes up and down the strings. Let me know if anyone knows for sure.

  • The first solo (the staccato-style solo) is Richards. The second soaring incendiary solo is Taylor. Different but both to me are definitive. Put the Ya-Ya's Sympathy solos in a time capsule: THAT is what rock-n-roll is supposed to sound like!

  • Fah King A DUDE, I hear you!!!! GET YER YA YA,S OUT! best album EVER!!!!!!

  • lets get some springsteen solos

  • Awesome!! can you put the tab, the link or something like that??

  • sweet..one of there best live riffs and recording ever...mick taylor rules

  • Are you Mick Taylor????? Rsrsrsrrs

  • i seriously hope your not talking about mick jagger, the mother fucker who doesnt even play the guitar for the stones

  • when I saw Mick TAYLOR, i was meaning Mick TAYLOR, not Mick Jagger............

  • ...in the gorgeous "Get yer yayas out"

  • Altogeher Keith Richard ans Mick Taylor's solos! Brilliant

  • Bravo , super ,je suis fan des stones et ce depuis 1964, je pratique aussi la guitare mais en plus modeste, j'ai commencé à apprendre ce solo ...

Combien d'heure de répète pour celui-ci ? Un conseil .

  • I take my hat off to you. This practically the same version as I know it from the album. Taylor can be proud of you. This is one of my favourite songs on the album. Now I finally saw how he did it. Thanks, great stuff.

  • Brilliant!

  • Right on, dude! I can remember trying to play that along with the album when I was a teenager (84-85) and I wasn't half as good as you. Mick Taylor rules.

  • Thank you. どうもありがとうございます、tab譜を見て練習しましたが、シンコーから出ていた「Get Yer Ya Yas Out」のスコアは残念ながら絶版のようです。

  • お返事ありがとうございます。あれからも何度も繰り返し見ています。

    「Get Yer Ya Yas Out」のスコアは絶版なんですね。残念でなりません。まあ、今の私のレヴェルではテイラーソロは弾けそうにありませんが・・・(^_^;)

    古本等でないか探してみます。

  • Thanks for sharing, it is great. Could you play the keith richard´s riff for this song???

    I would thank you.

  • Thank you it is necessary to practice me still.

  • first solo is Keith richards and the second is Mick

  • this is amazing. Do you have the tabs for this?

  • Thank you, and are not, and I'm sorry by the score.

  • Very well done man!do you play epiphone guitar? What is your tunning and your amp?

Do you like Wishbone ash helpless second solo from the live cd?It's my favourite solo after this one you play

Do you play Maestro fuzz tone?

  • Come on boyyy, esta increible, congratulations it's great! How many time to do it?

  • Thank you.

  • absolutly amazing. Mick taylor man....

it says something to say that you can play like him, and you sure can!

  • Thank you.

  • F'n impressive as hell!! MT would be proud to see this video. Well done.

  • im impressed! excellent playing;-)

by the way: the first solo was keith...not mick taylor...i wish you had an ampedg dan armstrong and could play this for us;-)

  • Thank you.

  • now this is very well done man i play the ya-yas sympathy live all the time i know how hard that solo is you hit it right on note for note excellent mick taylor tone aswell rock on my japanese brother!

  • HOLY CRAP that's amazing

  • Thank you.

  • Very nice.

  • Thank you.

  • For sure.

  • first of all, amazing, 2nd of all, nice ass guitar

  • Thank you.

  • nicely nicely!

  • Thank you.

  • eric clapton used to listen to his favorite records and play along with them over and over until he could play them exactly like the recording. i don't think there's anything wrong with what you're doing.

  • Thank you.

  • First of all, how old are you? And how long have you been playing the guitar? This was frickin' awesome dude! You're the man! Mick Taylor - The best guitarist ever lived.

  • Thank you. I am 37 years old. The guitar has been played for about 20 years.

  • I am jealous.

  • Bravo !!!!

2 things you have to notice :)

    1) until 1:20'' you have to play like Keith ,i know it's difficult to sound like him and might noone can do it in the planet :),it's the feeling ,the sound ...... you're on the same ectsactly playing but you loose in my ears. After 1,20" when Mick Taylor comings you drive a little bit nervous some times :)

2)You're a great guitar player !!! try to give your own groove to the song than trying to copy the sound of some special guys

    Thanks again :)

  • Thank you.

  • nice man

  • Thank you.

  • I've listened to that song literally 1000's of times, and I gotta say, that was pretty damn good..
