Do you think that an average node of 300 people should have 293 customers not being able to use their Internet? The technology for greater bandwidth, DOCSIS 3.0 was not available at that time.

It was a $5/difference & the girl on the phone said, "We'll credit you 6 months/$30 as it is your responsibility to view your bill" I wouldn't have been mad about only crediting us $30 until she added that it was "our fault" & not theirs. Comcast did do packet shaping in some areas as a test by an outside company but they actually dont block ports. They do cap your internet bandwith at 250Gs a month but you can actually increase your speed of the internet in your router believe it or not but i would get fired if i told you how

I have a belkin play and a cisco modem and they wont let me use it. i use the belkin for faster speeds (the one that i rent sucks) and they dont know that i use it. but 7 bucks a month for something that i can get for 5 bucks on ebay is extremely over priced!

I play MMORPGS and I play on Xbox LIVE a helluvalot. Every now and then my internet slows down and/or shuts off completely. I don't download shit from torrents and I for damn sure don't play games all day. But I can only assume this is why the keep fucking with me. WTF Comcast?!

About once a month for a week or so, I get random slows and disconnects...just for a few days or up to a week, and then...blam...everything is good again. I also don't use BitTorrents, I siimply play MMORPGs which are...basically...also constantly downloading information. If DSL or wireless were MORE reliable and as fast as cable is when it's GOOD....I would drop Comcast in a New York minute.
My brother and my friend work for Comcast. They will both tell you it sucks. Constant outages and constant rate hikes. The speed is good though. Thats the only reason Im still with them

There are some cities where Comcast really IS the ONLY ISP (mine used to be one!) then luckily FiOS expanded, CLEAR came into town, and other smaller local ISP's started sprouting up. But, trust me, for the longest time, I was forced into Comcast. So, it's not always as easy as "Just switch." Not to mention, people kinda need to know what Comcast really is. Which means bitching and whining.

Well..., their internet connection is sortta slow on my computer and it fucks it up, too. And that's not the worst part, it's their service. Believe me, I'm a REAL Comcast customer (sorry for my bad spelling^^"). Comcast has NO thirty day money-back guarantee. And, oh, get this; their little, black box called 'MOTOROLA', I have SOME of the channels, not all of them. I have about...84% of the channels.

About once a month for a week or so, I get random slows and disconnects...just for a few days or up to a week, and then...blam...everything is good again. I also don't use BitTorrents, I siimply play MMORPGs which are...basically...also constantly downloading information. If DSL or wireless were MORE reliable and as fast as cable is when it's GOOD....I would drop Comcast in a New York minute.

That bullshit went on for nearly a month so I called Comcast and told them to go fuck themselves, then switched to Verizon FiOS. I haven't had a single problem with them yet.
