Mal ne Frage......ab wann hat BMW in dem E46 Coupe 330ci das 6 Gang Schaltgetriebe verbaut ? Finde diese Übersetzung viel besser als der 5 Gang Schalter, der bei 250 Sachen schon im roten Bereich ist.....nicht wirklich motorschonend.....:) was verbraucht der Wagen eigentlich so im Schnitt ? BMW 4EVER !!!!!!!!!

Bei der Launch Controll kannst du Vollgas geben und auf der Bremse stehen, und die drehtzahlt wird bei einer gewissen 1/min gehallten, um das max. drehmoment zu erreichen zb hier

das was du da machst ist ein ganz normaler Kick Down!

@pinkpixel: Also ich habe diesen Wagen drei Jahre gefahrn. Im Handbuch ist der Modus als Beschleunigungsassistent beschrieben. Und glaub mir das beschleunigt definitiv anders als ein normaler Kick-Down. Die LC schaltet dann auch in den 2, bzw. 3 Gang obwohl die Automatik auf Manuell steht. So schnell kannst Du garnicht reagieren. Aber was rede ich, ich bin mir sicher Du hattest keinen e46 mit SMG und weist es trotzdem besser, oder?

DUDE never buy this SMG tranny BMWs. I have one right now. It works like a shit. Im owner of 2004 330i SMG with the same paddles on the wheel. This is single clutch tarnsmission and works very bad. Better buy and drive on simple manual trans. SMG wierd only on M series. Go read on forums, test it on your lockal dealer and get any infos from somewhere. I will change whole tranny to simple manual in few days.

bei BMW ist es so wenn du die DSC taste kurz drückst ist die Stabilitätskontrolle "eingeschränkt" wenn du sie LANGE gedrückt hälst bis das "handbremsensymbol" gelb leuchtet ist die Stabilitätskontrolle vollkommen deaktiviert... ;)

Finally find out who drive also 330 with SMG. Tell me dude how often you change clutch on your car? Mine is 330i SMG 6 gang and with 53000km Millage. Seems like clutch died already. Cuz shifting very slow and Im loosing valued time between shifting.

Have a questin dude. I got E46 330i with SMG 2003 year with 50000km . Actually I didnt like how smg shifts gears on AUTO. Tied to use it as manual still the same. I couldnt feel any sharp and quick shifts between gears. Car is waving when gearbox shifting gears. I feel like my grandpa sitting near me and shifting gears. SO SLOWWWW. WHay do I do?? DO I change the clutch or some other solution about this case? Waiting your advises guys. This is so importnt for me.

@135tii 330ci launch control system: So far as I remember: Manual Mode, Sport-Button on. DTC complete off (DTC-Button 3 Seconds pressed, until Handbrake sign appears). And then only kick down. The rest happens automaticly.

Sooner or later the clutch is gonna wear out on this SMG gearbox, who knows how complicated and costly it'll be to replace? Do you have to "feather" your gas pedal when you shift gears? If I dont feather mine, my car throws your head forward and then back into the headrest..

You seem to be able to shift without taking your foot of the gas! JEALOUS!

Staying on the throttle is no problem. Only the passengers are shaking there heads. But a short lift makes the shifting smoother.

yes you are right, the light in the middle is dsc but the other light on the right side with the exclamation mark in the middle actually means his brakepads are worn. so he does need a brake job.

its not only traction control its several systems that work under the stability control that will turn off to give full power

2 seconds of holding DSC the middle lights switches on and after 5 seconds the "brake light" part switches on...

Actually when it's RED it means the hand-brake is ON. The brake-pad light is next to it and it only comes in yellow.

The e90-330i has a 6-Gear Steptronic Gearbox. Only the 335i has now an Option for DKG (Doppel Kupplungs Getriebe) 7 Gear Double Clutch Gearbox. I thing/hope the DKG will have an Launch Control Mode. In 1,5 Years I will see ;-)

Handbrake symbol yellow = DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) is off

so DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) and DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) is turned off in the video!

You are actually the fuckin' idiot, he is right. If only the DSC is OFF(the light in the middle apears) you are not able to do burnouts. If you remove the DTC as well(the handbrake light apears in yellow also) the car will allow you to do burnouts because only then all the computers will be off.

LOL in e46 is not DTC button, only dsc and when u press it both systems are off i had e39 2001 when i switch off dsc yellow light in center console appears and car is in your control,now i have e65 2004 on i got dtc and dsc independent witch u can only witch off on idrive computer

to do launch control press and hold dsc button for 4 secs(this will disable traction control corner braking and the automatic stability control. then press the sport button on located below the ssg gearlever.then build the revs to 4000 rpm on gear one while on the brake and then bang off u go!
