Has anyone seen a church in the actual southern cone? They look alot less traditional and alot more like a pentacostal service. (I mean in Chile, Peru, Argentina & Bolivia)
Jesus taught and died for it, that people are more important than systems and more valuable to his sight than any human understanding about what God desires, God is love, the rest is human shortness and prejudice
This is sad to me. I'm a cradle Episcopalian and always will be an Episcopalian. I was born in Pittsburgh and am VERY thankful that I don't live there now.
Something even more shocking, I am a liberal Episcopalian who supports all of the forward moving events... and am in training to serve IN south America...
It's a global crisis over the authority of scripture and personal revelation. The Anglican Province of the Southern Cone consists of the Anglican diocese in South American and now also includes two North American dioceses and two more that will probably join shortly.
The Province of the Southern Cone is one of 38 Provinces of the Anglican Communion, located in the southern half of South America. A look at the map will help to understand the name for this Province.
Other Provinces with which you may be familiar are: the Church of England, The Episcopal Church in the USA, the Anglican Church of Canada, the Holy Catholic Church of Japan, etc.
