I liked this version of song by Rama Varma-ji and team. Amazingly nice. I am not sure if Dr. Balamuarali Krishna-ji (BMK-ji), Varma-ji's guru has sung this song. If yes, I would like to listen to BMK-ji's rendition.

I have a doubt- what is the second line in the pallavi ?? Is it "Thanneye "Sasi " ( moon ?)or "Sakhi" ( friend, thozhi) ?? Both of course, fits in with the rhyme pattern and both words can be interpreted to give a good meaning- was copying the lyrics for my son; didn't want him to learn the wrong ones...help :)

and 5th line, it is not pinnaiye, ninnaiye nithya kanni
