Well, this was one of the worst years for political voting, just because of the last 2 countries voting were baltic, "I wanna" won!

Well Spain, Germany and Israel gave Latvia 12 points that year, and got high points from almost all the countries voting.

I agree Malta would have been a better winner that year, but you need to blame all of Europe, not just Lativia's nieghbours...

@collumbell yeah there were a couple of countries that gave 12 to latvia despite the fact that they are geographically far away from latvia, but considering how close malta and latvia were with regards to points its quite obvious that latvia won cos of the help it got from it neighbours such as Lithuania and Estonia...im pretty much sure that had Ira represented Germany or Sweden for example, she would have won!
