salam o likum Hazrat Umer (RA) nay kabhi jamat kay sath taraveh nahi parhi.

Yeh kya fazool behas hai ke 8 taravei hai yeh 20. Har muslim ne taravei apnay sawab ke lia parhni hai na ke logo ke lia. jitni parh saktay ho parh lia karo. Pagal Muslims apas mei larh rehay hein. Secondly, yeh nafli ibadat hai koi farz nei hai. And Thirdly Qayamat ke din sirf farz namaz ka hisab ho ga. baqi sub nafli namazein hein chay un ka naam sunnat namaz hai yeh taravei ke namaz hai. :::: Jahil Muslim ! @Luqmanb04 You are basically saying that 'Umar (Radhiallahu 'Anhu) did a bad bid'ah. The sunnah of the khulafa ar-rashideen is NOT bid'ah in the bad sense. I hope you know that the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) said "If there would be a prophet after me, verily it would have been 'Umar Ibn Khattab." So please don't undermind Hadhrat 'Umar's (Radhiallahu 'Anhu) actions for Allah is well pleased with Umar (Radhiallahu 'Anhu) and ALL his actions.

baat tou aap ke samnay wazeh hogai hai ke hadees mei ye hai ke koi aur nabi ya rasool nahi ayega Mohammad SAWW ke baad. 30 jhotay nabion mei mirza sahib bhi shamil hain. Agar nahi hai phir bhi jhootay nabi tou beherhaal hain hi.

Sahaba knew act of Prophet SAW better than Ahl -e Hadith. didn't they and 11 Rakat are for tahajjud not taraweeh, tarawee are the set of four rakaats and if it would be two then gramatically the word is taraween should be used for two sets of four rakats not taraweeh as it mentions more than two sets of four rakasts because in Arabic there is separation between singular, two and plurals (more than two) unklike Urdu, English etc as they have just singular and plurals. May Allah Guide us Right way

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Yusuf that as-Sa'ib ibn Yazid said, "Umar ibn al-Khattab ordered Ubayy ibn Kab and Tamim ad-Dari to watch the night in prayer with the people for eleven rakas.The reciterof the Qur'an would recite the Mi'in (a group of medium-sized suras) until we would be leaning on our staffs from having stood so long in prayer. And we would not leave until the approach of dawn." [Muwatta Imam Malik, Hadith 6.2.4]

Ahle Hadith poorey Maheeny Taraweeh parhtey hain kyonki Nabi (saw) se Sahih Bukhari mein poorey Maah Ki Taraweeh ki Fazeelat sabit hai ki issey pichhley gunah mu'af ho jaatey hain. 20 Rakat Taraweeh ki riwaayat par Muhadditheen ka kalaam hai, aur Muwatta Imam Malik mein hai ki Umar (RA) ne bhi Ubai ibn Ka'ab (RA) ko 11 Rakat ka hukm diya jaisa ki Aaysha (RA) ne Nabi (saw) ki raat ki namaaz ke baarey mein kaha ki Nabi (saw) ne Ramadhaan ho ya ghair Ramadhaan, 11 Rakat se zyada namaaz nahi parhi.

Ahl-e-hadith did not ever said that hazrat inst's act is not valid but they said prophet act has more value. Prophet (s.a.w) did not regularly offer tarawee but sahaba did in prophet life. So they are acting upon both prophet And sahaba amal. There is no point on criticise any one. It's York u which one u want to follow
