Real patriots stand for the original principles the constitution was founded on - minimum government, maximum personal freedom, and none of these proxy wars. It's patriotic to take a stand against our government when our government crosses does wrong. It's not just $725 billion. Roughly half of all education grants are defense-related, which includes ROTC. Veterans' affairs is a separate branch of government financing, which is basically military. Espionage probably gets added to the list, and for that we have no idea how much money gets spent. NASA is a military organization, along with the port authority. I could go on and on.

Ironically, Mullen, CJCS, says the debt is the greatest threat to national security but even he won't advocate cutting military spending.
Real military spending is around $2-3 trillion/year.

the country could be restructured back to the principles of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. For example, the Fed Reserve could be abolished (vacate the Fed Res Act), the assets seized (they belong to the people anyway) and the fair debts renegotiated. The Patriot Act could be vacated, the military brought home to help rebuilt the infrastructure and support new agriculture and water systems. Schools could be revamped to turn out intelligent, responsible citizens.

I've earned respect from my kids and myself and every single cent I make is well-deserved, so I don't spend it foolishly. No car, TV, holidays, restaurants or any of that bullshit.
