  • I would love to try that beast out

  • what's that "humming" noise?

  • you realise how big they are then the bulldozer next to them looks like a stone..

  • what a monster great video

  • We just got a new one last week, was 18 million Australian dollars,

  • what s the price of this big monster?

  • trabaja muy despasio la maquina tal ves es porque es muy pesada yo traigo aora una komatsu pc 750 y es muy rapida

  • that should dig a residential pool in about half a scoop, OF A TRENCH BUCKET hahaha that thing is awsome!

  • sssslllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • @decibalz08

idiot, imagine throwing yourself when it goes faster than this.

  • @USFullOfLies

im sorry did i say speed the fuck up? slow ass operator? no don't believe i did, so take ur comment and shove it right back up ur ass, don't call me a idiot for making a point of the obvious, ITS SLOWWWWWWWWW, grow up child

  • @decibalz08

that comment proves how stupid you are.

730 tonnes of shits on your ass, and this with this thing, you can fill up a giant dump truck with 2 - 3 buckets, idiot.

  • forget nuclear bombs and shit like that! This to me is the ultimate feeling of power! having something that size at your fingertips is the biggest buzz you could have, all those world leaders with nuke missiles have no clue what power on this scale is like! Theyre just assholes who like playing games of morality, thinking theyre god or some supreme being when all they are are just common killers and theives!

  • Considering the fact that the pc8000 has 2 x 1450 kW electric motors needing power at 6600 V to use batteries would be totally counter-productive. Can you imagine the size of the battery bank needed or solar farm? And if you just used a recharging truck with diesel genseet onboard why not just get the diesel drive version? A power cable may have its drawbacks but it is the best solution found yet

  • You would think, with todays tecnology that the trailing electric cable would be done away with and replaced by banks of batteries. Makes the machine more flexible moving between jobs and when the power supply drops below a certain level, an automatic signal goes out to a "Recharging" truck which comes along with a generator on the back, plugging into the machine as its still working, giving the batteries a topping up! Or in sunny countries, solar panel feilds to power their fleet of E-diggers?

  • 3 min or 3 hours- i just love to see it work- love even more to work with it, even if its a small 800 kg excavator or minimover..

  • Electric, or Diesel?

  • is that a 10 or 11 cat feeding him?

  • why is the cab on the other side of the arm

  • BUENISIMOO

  • how big is that bucket?

  • Awesome video brang a tear to my eye. Reminded me of when I used to ride with my old man in equipment. Thank You.

  • que hermosura de maquina aqui creo que jamas vere una de cerca

  • BIggest hoe i have seen is a 450 Deere... This thing is fucking massive...

  • more vids pls, make them from inside the cab and much longer :)

  • I agree the machine would not move much quicker but this operator doesn't have a good loading technique - should be get truck in on 45 degree angle and swinging in thru rear of truck and not backing truck in over all those rocks and crap.

  • *slow

  • Damn that's alow operator!

  • 30 second cycle's are about as fast as your going to get on machines that big.

  • Man, look at the size of that thing next to a Rigid Dumper...

  • is this the biggest

  • Until recently this was the biggest excavator in the world, the Liebherr R9800 has sadly stripped it of its title. The Terex RH400 is only available as a face shovel. And in my opinion you measure the "size" of a large mining excavator by bucket capacity as you do with truck capacity, not by the overall weight of the machine as it means nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • @geoffro11 You got it all wrong man. The only Liebherr R9800 currently in production has a 47m3. The four Komatsu PC8000-6 excavatros at Columbia had 42m3 buckets but have now been all converted to 42m3 face shovels. The largest bucket on a PC8000-6 is 47m3 and can be found in Kumba Iron Ore's Sishen Mine in Kathu, South Africa. And the RH400 only comes in face shovel configuration so it can't be compared.

  • @5500Chris

I humbly disagree on this. Overall size of machine does count. The Terex RH400 has to deal with very heavy overburden for the type of mining it needs to do thus it's 1078 tonnes in weight.

  • @5500Chris

Chris, correct me if I'm not mistaken, but the RH400 needs to be a face shovel and needs it's large size to plow into majorly thick overburden. The RH400 is used for certain applications. It is still a quite legit machine in the industry. The Liebherr is indeed a formidable machine as is the Komatsu PC8000. Anything above the monsters I just mentioned you need a rope shovel which come in at over 1400t for the larger ones.

  • Forgot I posted on this subject just a few posts below. Anyway I added a bit of commentary. I love to see any of the monsters mentioned in these commentaries.

  • I bet that thing would dig a mean joint trench lol... or an Olympic size pool in one scoop=)

  • I can't say i'd be any faster on a 1,540,000 lb machine!

  • anyone notice how slow this guy is?

at least the dozerhand knows what hes doing.

tip:you can use more than one function when operating an excavator.

quit leaving your bucket up in the air until youve reached your cut,you look like a fucking idiot.

  • get your eyes checked dip shit, a fucking monkey could see he was lowering the boom at the same time he was swinging. you seem like a fucking idiot.

  • Anyone notice how smooth this monster runs? No banging!!!

  • Cheese has impressive to see these machines in directo.yo hills was a big quevi RH-90.buen video

  • where is this?

  • Comment removed

  • The 5110 is in a completely different size class to a Komatsu PC8000/Liebherr 996, and has no where near as big an engine thats in these, plus these have two engines as opposed to the single (3512?) in a 5110

  • Is it loading a 930E or a 830E?

  • I think it´s loading Euclid/Hitachi EH5000

  • wow very nice, you don't see a pc8000 backhoe everyday! I like the backhoes better than the front shovels, especially one as gigantic as that one!

  • @ExcavatorR9800

Face shovels are just more difficult unless its a huge pile. x

  • @ExcavatorR9800 im guess they use back hoes for digging down, and front shovel for digging up.

  • very nice machines

  • lol good call 73miracle, kinda like an old demag 740 or 685 lol. hmm.... 70 cubic yard bucket converted to excavater is huge though lol. we got a couple at the mine i work at here, not converted, still front end shovel.

  • Nice vid. Lucky sob in the shovel. Nice rig and sweet gig. Lotsa lag in the driver and too bad you had to wait for that slack. A lame truck driver or two can really make ya look like a newb.

  • You wouln't be popular with your union brothers with an attitude like that.

  • no front shovel

  • man.... the buckets almost the size of the bulldozer...

  • Great video !

Did you record only these fiew seconds in the cab. I could watch another 30 min just seen from the cab. So if you have some more videos from the cab, please post them

  • haha lol at the D11 dwarfed by the 8000

  • i see like a D4 whit ripper

  • looks like demag , sounds like a demag , but weres the oil leaks

  • 8000 »how much money one where he is working

  • Awesome!!! How many of them are working across the globe?

  • probable a couple of hundreds......but at this size is pretty difficult to find them...maybe only South America and South Africa.....for sure not in Europe:)

  • in russia, and sweden are some. i know

  • @MARCOMROMANIA - here in Sweden we have two PC5500-6 front shovels. And I have heard a rumor about a mine in Spain that is about to buy a PC8000, although its only a rumor.

  • @MARCOMROMANIA thereare machines of this size in europe i kno of atleast 2 in scotland

  • Quite a few in Australia too

  • @kushaluttam to this day, only 69 have been made. Quite a large number for the size of them. Can be found in North America, Africa, Australia, South America and Russia.

  • Is it electric?

  • YES......no smoke on the pipes:)

  • Gran video, lastima que no dure mas rato la vista desde la cabina, es impresionante.

  • unfortunatelly only 730 tonnes:)))

  • that thing is frickin huge...800 ton?

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
