Not to be a dick, but seeing the pupils is somewhat a tribute to the old turtles, remember that is how they looked. But to be honest, yes I am uncomfortable with it. I mean, if it was say a different version then I can deal with it (the movie) but this is the cartoon of 2005, they always had white eyes... the backgrounds also look less detailed. :(

I'm a fan of the original comics, and people have to realize that the comics were around first, the 80s cartoon had its time, and this is an attempt to bring the original vision to life. Nothing wrong with that.

Although I don't get exactly why TMNT creator Peter Laird is so unhappy with the 80s cartoon and second and third TMNT movies for being too cartoony and out-there when this cartoon has time travel, people speaking English in the Dark Ages, etc.

I thought the first season (the first five episodes) of the 80's cartoon were great, they all tied together very well. The next two seasons weren't great, but were passable. After that the show went downhill, and I find it hard to watch some of the episodes because they're just poorly done.

I really liked the 2k3 series, I thought it was the best of them all. I'm in the process of watching this first episode of BTTS, I'm reserving judgment.

I've heard that FF was the worst of them all.

I think the cartoony look did fit with the old show, but with this one, I prefer the more comic accurate look. But on the other hand, after season 2, the series did not have much to do with the comics anymore and I think I would not watch it anyways.^^

I'm sure the fans of the 90es Cartoon (I loved it, too, back then) do like the new eyes, but I think the turtles just look silly now, like babyversions of the last Seasons. They looked so cool in the modern Cartoon, I think the show went over the edge, but still the Turtles looked cool. No they have faces as if they were 4 years old.
