i dont know why but i love this band so much more than any other, listened this album all day when i was 10 yrs younger. they have a song "time square station, paperbag in my bag, gimme what i want, gimme what i need" who can help me find this song???
@life24712 Vampire Nation. I remember seeing these guys in concert when I was 18, they were great! Another great song of theirs was Waiting For The Next Big Parade.
D generation is a great band. These guys have recieved much acclaim bet they stayed in the underground scene for the band's entire lifespan, it just doesn't make sense
I refuse to believe this is the same guy who whined through a more-emo-than-thou cover of Jim Croce's "Operator." This song just . . . doesn't suck. It really, really doesn't.
The video, on the other hand, is far too clean (as in ironed clothes and polished floors) for either punk rock or New York City.
@thegrammarfairy These guys were the biggest phonies back in the day, 3 rich kids and the other 2 were: a guy who slept with Dee Dee Ramone and another guy who bobbed for feces. No joke people i am posting the truth!
@SonyVor Trust me i was there for this clown act from day one, they were never punks, they were better in the early days when they sounded like Thin Lizzy meets KISS, once the two idiot brothers joined they became as annoying as Lindsey Lohan.
@qcboy62 I only met Jessie back then. He was/is a friend of a good friend. Jessie has never been anything but kind to me. Nobody's been punk since 1978 or so regardless. I remember Cheetah Chrome mentioning that one night. He was making a good point, but I can't remember about what.
@SonyVor I've known Jesse for over 30 years, always was a phoney. He knows how to act social but when you're in his company over a long period of time his true colours show. He and his band DGeneration really blew it back in the day tho i knew they would never get big (too many lazy members, too many ego's) the only thing i'll say postive about him is he'll work hard to make it but the audience he's aiming for doesn't buy his muzak.
Cheetah Chrome is an idiot and i've known him for over 33 years
@qcboy62 I have to wonder why somebody you consider an idiot is incapable of making a cogent observation. Even Henry Kissinger has surprised me once every 40 years. I also have to wonder whom you consider "real" and by what definition process!
@qcboy62 I did not imply that Henry Kissinger was or is right about a thing. It seems that your inference belongs to you, not to me.
Jesse has given you much to complain about, I reckon. As for making it in the music "biz" and the like, it is clear that you care far more about that than I do. Really, who cares? Not me. Why do you?
@SonyVor You said Kisstnger has surprised you once in a while so if you don't like my reference to a war criminal that's your problem.
Now onto to Jesse, i don't care about making it in the music biz, 75% of my favorite bands never made made it tho they had talent Jesse on the other hand has none, he's as talented as George Bush was a good president.
I love this song. It's a movement.

@qcboy62 It's a good thing that they could play rock and roll. The rest? Really, who cares?
SonyVor 1 year ago
@SonyVor I wouldn't call what they played rock & roll, to me it's 3rd rate L.A. hair metal, which was never music to me.
qcboy62 1 year ago
@qcboy62 Oh, I see. Well, that's better than first rate hair metal, isn't it?

@SonyVor First off Henry Kissinger is a war criminal and a traitor to this country so to even imply that he's right once every 40 years is bs.
Jesse talks and walks so much crap it's unbelievable, there's a reason he's never made it in the music biz.
Do you think writing lame songs about the imaginary crazy characters is an observation?
My fav Jesse move is when he shoots himself in the head either live on stage or in his videos.
Jesse has nothing to give the world but a whiney voice.
