  • ONE MILLIONS THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO, THIS WILL HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE, EVEN OLD GUYS, CAUSE IN THE DEALER THEY WANT TO CHARGE JUST FOR CHANGE IT $79.00. THATS A SHAME. WHEN THEY TOLD ME, I WAS SHOCK. I DIT IT BY MYSELF, AND I FOUND THE FILTER $ 13 ON E-BAY,INCLUDE S/H AND TAX. DEALERS: $ 22+ TAX DO A VIDEO IN SPANISH, YOU WILL HELP THOSE GUYS TOO.

  • My husband has a 2006 Hyundai Elantra, I noticed in the notes it said, that it fits 07-present, is there a specific type for the 2006 model?

  • @drbobiwsky Hey, sorry for the late reply! The 2006 Elantra takes the AQ1053 filter. You can search "AQ1053" and you should come across the video for the Tiburon that takes the same filter. THe procedure should be very similar. I hope this helps!

  • I am not sure what is the reason for the foggy and hazy at the windows glass? If it is the reason of Cabin air filter, I will go through. Please let me know maftun2002@yahoo.com

  • Does the 2001 Elantra GLS model have a cabin filter? Thanks

  • @TheCoolfez The 2001 Elantra does have a filter. The part number that we sell is AQ1053. The video we have is for the Hyundai Tiburon but the procedure is mostly the same.

  • @filterheads That's weird, when i open the glove box, I don't see a filter, I do see a space but it doesn't look big enough to fit a filter...

  • @TheCoolfez Yes, it does. It is located roughly in the same place.

  • What year and model is this showing? Before I order, the filter I have in my 2010 Elantra Touring does not look like this. The ribs go the other way (front to back) not left to right. I bought one at a brick and mortar dealer, supposedly the proper replacement, and it does not fit.

  • How often have you guys found this is necessary, on average?

  • @CaspianKid Normally we suggest that you change your filter every 1 year or 15,000 miles. If you live back in the woods or in a town that produces a lot of smog you may want to change it earlier so that it doesn't get clogged up with anything.

  • Thank you but...foolishly I just got done paying the dealer $75 to replace mine-I feel like a complete moron now. Talk about some legal crooks.

  • Thank you!

  • Thx, I did it myself. Definitey beats paying the dealers outrageous amount of money to do this. One trick I learned though is when removing the two little clips from inside the glovebox, do it while closing the glovebox half way, that makes it much easier to remove those two little clips. I first tried to remove those two little clips with glovebox fully open, I think I got bruised thumbs :).

  • Hyundai owners beware if you take your vehicle to get your air filter replaced at the dealer. They wanted to charge me $60 to replace the filter. The filter costs around $10-$20 at autozone or o'reilly's. Thanks for this video. It's easy to replace. By the way, the filter cost me 22.95 at Autozone. I saved moola.

  • @frcbrito (just because we'd like to push our product!) We have this filter on our website for $16.41 with free two day shipping.

  • 0_o that's it . . . . that takes - 5 mins.I'm buying that filter ASAP
