ah, yea, with windows 7 it's different, i have that version now too.

what exactly didn't work for you? there should be a way to do it in Paint 7.

@WolfspiritAlou The bit where you blur the background and the bit where you put the foreground onto the background.

Alrighty, then ^^

to blur the background, near the "select" tool there should be a "resize" tool. click on that, then change horizontal to 1 (make sure to uncheck the "maintain aspect ratio"). click "ok", the image should get smaller. then, do the same thing again but instead of "1" put "500". do that a couple times until it gets to the size you want.

and as for pasting the pic, MAKE SURE THAT your foreground is a "24" bitmap image.

then, open the background and follow the same steps in the video here, except to "paste from" click on the arrow UNDERNEATH the "paste" button. and make sure your selection is transparent.

well... i can't really explain it in a different way... the point is, you CAN still do everything in the video, but the menu is arranged differently so it'll take you a while to find the same buttons.

oh, sure ^^

The "select" button on the top has an arrow under it. click on the arrow, and then click on "transparent selection" on the very bottom of the list that appears

cool! and uh, just one question, whenever i try to put a pic i drew off paint that is really big, youtube says its too big, and i ended up having to use a tiny pic for my background. could you explain to me how to get youtube to let me use a bigger pic? i tried to ask for help elsewhere, but them they confused me :/

if you want youtube to let you use a bigger pic, then you have to save your pic in a different file format. that means that you have to reduce the quality of the picture. if you use paint, you have to save it as a JPEG image (under the place where you title the pic, it should also say "save type as" or something like that. sometimes, the pic is just too big and you need to make the image smaller, and file type will not help

There is another way of doing this (To anyone whos reading his X3)

Do the same, but dont do random to like, 3 diagonal parts across. then shrink it by 1 2 times. :P

it's easier if you leave the first BG white but this is really cool anyway I didn't know you could make colorful BGs like that in MS paint :)
