I couldn't find the verse you quoted me in Genesis 23 but i found a similar verse in Genesis 22. Still you have to take it figuratively since Isaac was NOT Abraham's only son. Remember that Ishmael made his covenant with God at the age of 13, when he was willingly circumcised. Before Isaac was born. Circumcision was the sign of the covenant and Ishmael's descendants bore it until today. You haven't yet produced proof that God went back on his covenant with Ishmael.

Genesis 17:17-21 Says that God blessed Ishmael. No where does it say that Ishmael was excluded from the covenant. Genesis 21:9-13 Talks about how Sarah got jealous of Hagar and her son Ishmael and asked Ibrahim to "cast them out". God tells Abraham to listen to Sarah, still blesses Ishmael again "because he [is] thy seed" verse 13.

I couldn't find the verse you quoted me in Genesis 23 but i found a similar verse in Genesis 22. Still you have to take it figuratively since Isaac was NOT Abraham's only son. Remember that Ishmael made his covenant with God at the age of 13, when he was willingly circumcised. Before Isaac was born. Circumcision was the sign of the covenant and Ishmael's descendants bore it until today. You haven't yet produced proof that God went back on his covenant with Ishmael.

actually, Jesus didnt make a name for himself.
his name was made by Paul, years after he was already dead.
maybe Jesus never existed. maybe he did and he was a really nice guy. we could never know that.
if he really did exist and killed on the cross, then it was the Romans who killed him in the same way they used to kill hundreds of Jews in those days - nailed to a cross.

that's technicalities, my point is that if you thoroughly examine the bible, as done in the "lets get biblical series" of outreach Judaism, you'd understand that Christianity is false, so even if Jews killed Jesus, it would at most be yet another case of guy getting killed for nothing, and has no special meaning beyond any other mistrial throughout history.

who cares who has more casualties? who cares that the Arabs hide behind civilians and target Jewish civilians, both of which are war crimes? what matters is that Arabs are trying to steal our homeland and wipe us out (i.e. genocide). we have the right & obligation to defend ourselves by all means necessary.

i dont want to dig myself in a hole or anything, but were all humans, no different. just different cultures thats all. and if those cultures clash why can we figure out a way to make them work with each other, what point is there is in fighting? apart from pride - which actually oh - is a human emotion. think about the actual posotive outcome of conflict......ummm?
