Pretty cool, I had heard a lot about the Ventilator on some of the Keyboard forums, a tad pricey but seems worth your back alone if you've ever physically encountered a leslie... :D I see your using one of Doug's guitars, sounds really great! Thanks for sharing the video!
Very impressive! Now, how can I simulate those Peter Frampton solos from the Frampton Comes Album with this pedal? Especially his sequence of solos during Lines on My Face, with the last two solos projecting that unique Leslie stereo effect . It almost sounds as if it's not of this earth!
you guys have a solid tone and i know your demoing this pedal which is bad ass and im gonna have to buy one.....but DAMN if that drummer aint the fuckin shit!!!!
Great tune Lance, love the simple 3 piece bands that actually play well vs having 15 ppl on stage rapping, spitting into the mics, with there pants falling down yo-yo-yo know what I mean. BTW the ventalator is a God send for us organ players too. :) thanks for posting and keep up the great playing.
Lance, your tone is phenomenal! Just as a matter of interest, what overdrives do you use? The Ventilator from what I've heard just seems to take most overdrives to a whole new level...
I have the Strymon Lex and love it, but quite honestly this seems to be even better, as much as I thought nothing could be. The ramping seems so natural!
I've been searching for this sound for YEARS and you've NAILED IT!!! If I had to choose only one sound beyond an amp with reverb, it would be a slow overdriven Leslie. I've tried phasers, flangers, choruses, other Lesile sims, and I've never found anything that has that growl...until now! Thanks!!!
Were you using a boost or was is just the Little Britain? love your videos and playing, hope I can make it to Austin one day and you are playing somewhere.
wow! can't remember havin heard a better guitar sound in the last 20 jears! because of your great playing of course. i know in the end it's always the guitar player and not the guitar/amp/pedal or whatever... I'm deeply impressed!
the tune was magical....gave me goosebumps...and I guess thats what the ventilator is about :) man I swear I was looking for the pedal that does this sound but didnt know the name :) Thank you and wish u well :)
ya know what's great about these? the girth. this is the 1st lesped to get the girth & size of the sound right. what i've always hated about pedals is the fact that they subtract so much size from a guitar sound. god, i wish i had one, but realistically, i'll never be able to afford one. i'm hoping that the strymon lex (with a little luck in scoring an affordable 2nd-hand unit) will do at least half as good, particularly in the clarity dept, my main gripe with my boss rt-20...
The Vent is before or after dirt? thanks! Excellent tone!

This is one of the best demos out there. It's great to hear it in a live setting mixed in a full band.
