Actual line 6 spiders SUCK ASS. People think they are cool because of all the features, but after 6 months of light playing on them they fall apart and dont work right. And they allways have something thats just not "right" with them.

hahaha yea thats actually kinda whats happening to me. you strangely and accurrately described my situation. about 7 months of light playing and something about it doesnt seem right. and i declined the warranty cuz i had just enough dough to buy the amp. ooo welllll

Lol yeah, I mean they DO have great features they just dont hold up. Repairs cost an arm and leg. Its just win-lose-lose. Lol. Line six does have other lines that are better and DONT screw up, but those cost out the but.

yea its a solid amp and i dont really regret it but my uncle has a marshall half cab lying around so i might just get a line 6 head and use it with the marshall. i figure the features of a line 6 with the quality of a marshall half stack... solid deal

thats a REALY BAD idea. The reason so is marshall is famous for its amps being used LIVE why? because they sound live they dont sound fake. BUT line 6 is all digital sounding, it would cancel out what a marshall is supose to be, Lol try it let me know how it goes.

If that's the Spider III 75 W I have the same one. What do you think of it when you put heavy distortion on it and play real loud(like past half) ? I find when I'm in dropped B or C it sometimes starts getting real mucky especially when I crank it to play with a drummer. You find that too or no?

yea it only sounds good with heavy distorion once you get to about 5 1/2. mine has this wierd reverb thing i hate it, even when i turn the volume and reverb all the way down it still reverbs a little. and its not really reverb i think it has something to do with the speaker, but its similar to reverb. its not very crisp/clean. it sucks but its a really nice amp otherwise. presets are really cool and effects are pretty sweet
