I have a Pyr and love her to death. Just started looking at the PYR/Mastiff breed. Beautiful dogs. I dont know anything about this mixture. R they stubborn like a PYR? Are there breeders for this mix? thanks

uh well im pretty sure that pryenean mastiffs are bigger than pyrenean mountain dogs.Both big dogs tho

would these be a good companion dog?i want a livestock dog that can protect me and my house yet i want one that is a good companion also,and are they strong?i want to make sure i get a strong dog.they look like big dogs or is that just all the fur?

i have one and they get bigger then then the one showed, i think this is still a youngster. and yes, they are verry strong. and they are normely good for protecting a house and stuf, becouse thats whey they were breed for in the first place. for compagnion i think these dogs are great, my dog is verry cudly and alway's wants to be where the people are. he really links human company. but when he has enough attention, he wants te be left allobne.

@saraatjeh That was just a pup?!They must get pretty big lol.I decided im not going to get a huge dog like one of these,too much maintenance.Probly just a little dog like a mini bull terrier or jack Russel.

smart dission, they are great dogs, but they need a lot of maintenance. and jack russels or a bull terrier are also nice dogs. good luck with you're dog!

@SirRetku Mitä minulla on kahdesta pystiffistä kokemusta, niin kyllä päästää pihalle, mutta toinen meillä oli sellainen, että ei päästä pihasta pois, ennen kuin vieras on talonväen nähnyt.
