Kermode really needs to keep his bullshit opinions to himself. He gave Twilight a great review for christ sake which by default makes his view fucking redundant. Thats a shame about Nekromantik. Not sure why the director is being cunty about it. Then again it might have caught him on a sour day or something, hopefully if he sees this video he might change his mind.

@Shagrat65 Cheers mate...well he has seen the video and thinks we're over reacting lol...i remember back in the day when he came to the UK loads of people took risks to get his film shown you'd think he'd be grateful that we are still talking about his films 23 years later....all those people who risked jail terms bootlegging his films so he could get noticed....i guess he forgot all that....but at least he brought some light on our film club....turn the negatives into positives...

Don't let a daft speed bump like this slow you down guys. Fair enough he didn't want his film shown you will never be able to please everybody all the time. Wish there was a club like this up in Glasgow. We meed more proactive folk like you who truly have a passion and love for film. Back on the horse and all that shite!

@RewindReload1 Cheers mate...he has brought publicity to our little film club and have great followers both on here and on facebook plus other directors support our shit lol....must be short of £20 ; ) i would love to take GBU on the road its one of the things i have spoken about with fitz and is quite possible with such a great Youtube community....who knows...thanks for the kind words mate...means a lot...

Shame about his response. I can understand his position I guess, but find it sad for the reasons you guys stated.

We have a good indie music scene around here, but nothing like this for film, so I can understand how much effort you put into these shows.

It's awesome, and something that needs to be done, and I hope I can make it to one ASAP.

It's a shame for someone not to embrace you showing these films to fellow fans. Esepcially given the disctribution of said film.

@miyacemu Cheers matey...i think it was sad that i grew up enjoying Jorgs films and when he came here to the UK he was helped by friends of mine and it was a big deal here people bootlegging his tapes to give him exposure all with his blessing but i guess he has forgotten all the stuff that happened in the past....luckily for us its there for everyone to see on facebook. Anyways would be good to see you sometime....all the best...

Only joking chaps, me personally/.. I see nothing wrong at all with what you are doing, in fact, the complete opposite. Like you said, the films you show where first shown in similar circumstances. You guys aren't making profit on this, you are just sharing and introducing people to films, to drectors even distribution labels.
