The clean vox without rasps @1:17 (and repeated) seemed a bit flat IMO. That certainly wasn't as powerful as the vocals in the rest of the song, which I have to give you massive respect for. I liked it much better than Warrel Dane's vox.

Zakk, bro, what mic do you use and how do you get such a presence onto your vocal mixes? When I try to do my own stuff the recording just doesn't sit as well as yours. Any tips/tricks about vocal mixing that you can share?

@BloodReverence In this video I used a Beta 58 by Shure, and I do something different every time I mix, I refuse to use presets, so it's really just fuck around with it. But compression and EQ and huge with that
