Could someone professional please answer this question regarding my BCI. I want to know if it sounds like he or she has a thermal burn or if its normal belly patterning. The snake has developed a very light orange colour on the belly scales at the tail. I'm wondering if that is normal for boas. It is known to be a normal but has a stripe tail. It is now 10 months old.
@Hambone2195 I got mine when i was 15. great snake. I love boa's, recommend them, but you need to be prepared for a snake that can get fairly big. I had to do research and help a family friend (who breeds boa's & where I got mine) take care of his boa's before I was aloud to get mine.

I have had a problem with drinking in the past. Here in Belgium drinking age is 16, and nobody makes a problem out of kids drinking (also not the police). So i started when I was 12, didn't stop till I was 22! Now a days, its all about my ballpythons and keeping them happy!!!

I believe that the drinking age should be lowered through increments. For each year of age that it's lowered there should be a wait time of 3 years. So it would take 9 years to lower the drinking age to 18. That it would take almost a decade to make this change and it wouldn't be so drastic. The reason why drugs aren't allowed in the U.S. is because there is no control between the teenagers. It works in the rest of the world because they are already used to it.
PERFECT DRINKING AGE SHOULD BE 21, for a reason, sorry for caps... had to get attention... its 21 because brain development, idk the specifics, but thats the basis of 21 being the drinking age... here in America, we screw our kids over on education but dont let them drink... love it

I think in the UK it should stay at 18, it doesn't matter what age you set the limit at there's always gonna be irresponsible people out there that get too drunk and do dumb stuff, or even worse, the people that buy alchohol on behalf of underagers who get way to drunk and end up fighting, vandalising and ending up in hospital. It doesn't matter what you do there's always gonna be that small minortiy that ruin it for everyone else!

There should be no legal age... anywhere. That encourages the big birthday "cuz you're legal" binging, and several hospitalizations on their 'special day'. Get rid of the age, and wait for parents to realize that THEY need to discourage alcohol, not the law. Parents that drink have the right to teach their kids about responsible drinking.
I got to say reptiles are a big part of my life and I love my 44 lizards and 32 snakes. I disappointed that my wife won't let me have any snakes at the house but can't be to upset with my "zoo" 2blocks away. I also think that reptiles made a big part of who I am today, plus at my small zoo I want to try getting some different morphs of boas and what not in but we'll see how it goes.

I live in australia and our legal drinking age is 18, the same as when we are legal to buy ciggaretts and vote. I never understood why drinking in your country has been held back two years from everything else? If you old enough to vote why shouldnt you be aloud to drink? well technically alcohol can damage yer brain growth if your under 25... but u know cigarettes cause lung damage no matter what age you are! and pot nothing not a single damn problem with pot.... but yeah drinking age i think should be a parental choice... teach yer kids responsible drinking (oh and pot should be legal im more for that than the damn drinkin age) .. well i jus got home from prom so ima go out and get drunk and smoke some ganja. latuuh!
Hey SBTV, I am from Holland where the legal age is 16. I am now living in Australia and the legal age here is 18. I have noticed that there are a lot more assholes around in Australia that ruin it for everyone when it comes to drinking. Everyone in Holland is very down to earth about drinking (and smoking weed). At the end of the day I dont think there is an actual age that is perfect, it all depends on the people consuming alcohol themselves. Cheers
I believe they switched the drinking age back to 21 because the amount of drunk driving accidents doubled in the younger population when the age was lowered. Yes, its ridiculous that you can die for our Nation overseas but you can't come home and enjoy a beer at 18. However, simply changing the drinking age to 18 won't solve anything. We need to be more like the europeans that encourage responsible drinking young a age. That would require an entire cultural upheaval, but would be well worth it.
@heylookimfat Yes. That is the exact idealogy we need! I'm from Europe and I my father has been teaching me how to drink responsibly since I was 12. Of course when I started it was just little glasses of beer but by the age of 15 he would allow me to drink full glasses of beer, and then it progresses to liquor. So now that I am almost 20 I have a sense of what is correct and incorrect and how to be responsible when drinking and driving.
I think 21 is a good age to not only drink, but smoke, buy porn, condoms and all that other shit. I think it should all be moved to 21 years of age. Heres why, it is scientifically proven that your body is fully mature at 21. That mean everything, your lungs, your brain everything. And you are also capable of making better decisions. @Subderhenge Uh... show a source? That's not true at all. People vary, ever heard of the term "early/late bloomers?" People grow at different rates, "21" is just a generalization. Also, females stop growing for the most part after their first period, so their bodies for the most part are matured years before that of a male's. So should the drinking age be different for them?

As for Kel's question about drinking age, I agree with the comments both he and George made. I think 18 is a resonable age since that is considered a legal adult and they can vote, smoke, buy tobacco and die for their country. However, Kel was right. If people would be more responsible then maybe the age wouldn't have been changed in the first place.
Does it really matter what the drinking age is? Anyone of any age can easily obtain an alcoholic beverage, all it takes is a parent, friend, sibling, etc with money and knowledge of a liquor retailer's location for an underage person to be able to obtain such a forbidden beverage. As a state, the U.S. has more to worry about than nanny-ing its people. Let mommies and daddies nationwide parent their own damn kids.

There should be no drinking age! In Germany and other European countries there are no drinking problems because the kids grow up with alcohol. Also becoming drunk frowned upon severely in such countries. Drinking should be legalized for all people. Drink Responsibly!
First off, I'd like to start with for the last few years I've been deathly afraid of snakes. Until I came across your show and I like how you explain everything in detail about the snakes. I don't think I'm at the point where I could hold one but freaking out in the pet stores are no longer a problem. And Kel, I think the drinking age should be 18 here in the states because you are technically an adult according to law. Why not drink.
Forget about age there should be a test to see how someone acts when drinking and if they pass that person should get a drinking card that let's them drink. I'm a bartender and a bouncer I've seen older guys n girls in their 30's act like fools n immature and seen younger ppl from 17 up that act way more mature than a lot of older folk . The best drinking age is 18. I think this age is the best because when you are an adult your body is stronger and you have became more mature. When you are 15-16 you just dont think and i've seen many teenagers drinking a lot of strong alcohol drinks, until they are complitely drunk and start throwing up. Other teens have been to hospitals because they drunk too much, and others......HAVE DIED!!!....Before one week here in Greece a 15 year old girl died because she drunk too much. This is crazy.
personally i feel most 18yr olds are not mature enough or adult enough to handle drinking but the same can be said for a large chunck of the 21yr olds. but i do feel 18 should be the legal age just cause the military, cause if i am 18 and i am adult enough to make the choice to go to war and die for my country i should be able to sit down and have a beer in that same country i am willing to die for.

I think that 18 is a resonable drinking age but i live in the uk and what bugs me most of all is the fact that you can smoke at 16 legaly but you cant buy tobbacco until you are 18 so you have to break the law to be able to smoke at the age of 16 ? they should make both the same.

Hi Brian, great show as always !, i cannot understand why you struggle breeding your boa's, i have had 24,37,43 babies out of three matings of my Anery female and striped male, it's simple make sure female is just about overweight, and put male in at beginning of December --- but don't remove him !!!! until beginning of March. The reason for this is they couple & mate for approx 16 hours then seperate for 6 hours then the female instigates it all over again, this goes on for months if allowed

you are right snakebytes 18 is the legal drinking age in the uk but if you have a meal in restaurant then you can have alcohol with the meal if your 16 or over.
Nice episode I really like your new Boas!!! Here in Germany the alcohol laws are totaly stupid hard alc is alowed if you are 18 stuff like beer and beer mix is alowed if you are 16. Most of the clubs agree and don`t give alc to younger people but if a 14 years old guy wants alc he would get it. But that is not only here so if the money is right nobody is interested in your age.

i wish i lived in america over here in australia we have some cool animals, but you cant get any snakes from outside of the country like ball python or boas (if you hade a special licence maby but that isfar out of most peoples reach) so it would be great if you showed some australian snake morphs because like i said no outsider snakes allowed. :(

I think they've got it right in Europe. The drinking age should be 16, BUT the driving age should be 18. Automobiles are significantly more dangerous than alcohol. A young person should understand the effects of alcohol long before reaching for the steering wheel. If you're old enough to die for your country, you're old enough to celebrate survival with a beer.

I had to laugh, Kel said the legal drinking age in Canada is 19, that may be the case further east of where i live but it just happens to be 18 in Alberta. As far as drinking age it should be younger but the consequences for drinking and driving should not be a suspension of license but to be completely unable to drive ever. After all if they make the mistake to drink and drive, and get caught, they may not have killed someone but they could.

Get rid of the age, and wait for parents to realize that THEY need to discourage alcohol, not the law. Parents that drink have the right to teach their kids about responsible drinking.

I got to say reptiles are a big part of my life and I love my 44 lizards and 32 snakes. I disappointed that my wife won't let me have any snakes at the house but can't be to upset with my "zoo" 2blocks away. I also think that reptiles made a big part of who I am today, plus at my small zoo I want to try getting some different morphs of boas and what not in but we'll see how it goes.

I live in australia and our legal drinking age is 18, the same as when we are legal to buy ciggaretts and vote. I never understood why drinking in your country has been held back two years from everything else? If you old enough to vote why shouldnt you be aloud to drink? Then again im a Aussie we drink for anything haha. Love the show brian i'd kill to have some of your snakes over here!

well technically alcohol can damage yer brain growth if your under 25... but u know cigarettes cause lung damage no matter what age you are! and pot nothing not a single damn problem with pot.... but yeah drinking age i think should be a parental choice... teach yer kids responsible drinking (oh and pot should be legal im more for that than the damn drinkin age) .. well i jus got home from prom so ima go out and get drunk and smoke some ganja. latuuh!

Hey SBTV, I am from Holland where the legal age is 16. I am now living in Australia and the legal age here is 18. I have noticed that there are a lot more assholes around in Australia that ruin it for everyone when it comes to drinking. Everyone in Holland is very down to earth about drinking (and smoking weed). At the end of the day I dont think there is an actual age that is perfect, it all depends on the people consuming alcohol themselves. Cheers

I believe they switched the drinking age back to 21 because the amount of drunk driving accidents doubled in the younger population when the age was lowered. Yes, its ridiculous that you can die for our Nation overseas but you can't come home and enjoy a beer at 18. However, simply changing the drinking age to 18 won't solve anything. We need to be more like the europeans that encourage responsible drinking young a age. That would require an entire cultural upheaval, but would be well worth it.

@heylookimfat Yes. That is the exact idealogy we need! I'm from Europe and I my father has been teaching me how to drink responsibly since I was 12. Of course when I started it was just little glasses of beer but by the age of 15 he would allow me to drink full glasses of beer, and then it progresses to liquor. So now that I am almost 20 I have a sense of what is correct and incorrect and how to be responsible when drinking and driving.

I think 21 is a good age to not only drink, but smoke, buy porn, condoms and all that other shit. I think it should all be moved to 21 years of age. Heres why, it is scientifically proven that your body is fully mature at 21. That mean everything, your lungs, your brain everything. And you are also capable of making better decisions. I know I sound like the prude here but it kinda makes sense if you think about it

@Subderhenge Uh... show a source? That's not true at all. People vary, ever heard of the term "early/late bloomers?" People grow at different rates, "21" is just a generalization. Also, females stop growing for the most part after their first period, so their bodies for the most part are matured years before that of a male's. So should the drinking age be different for them?

As for Kel's question about drinking age, I agree with the comments both he and George made. I think 18 is a resonable age since that is considered a legal adult and they can vote, smoke, buy tobacco and die for their country. However, Kel was right. If people would be more responsible then maybe the age wouldn't have been changed in the first place.

Does it really matter what the drinking age is? Anyone of any age can easily obtain an alcoholic beverage, all it takes is a parent, friend, sibling, etc with money and knowledge of a liquor retailer's location for an underage person to be able to obtain such a forbidden beverage. As a state, the U.S. has more to worry about than nanny-ing its people. Let mommies and daddies nationwide parent their own damn kids.

Hmm... Occasionally in Korea, you can see a few "bad" kids among the rest. One in my class used to smoke(we're 15). I gotta tell you though, when you see drunk Koreans around outside, they're really scary LOL

I think they should either change the drinking age to 18, or the military sign up age to 21. I find it incredibly stupid that you can sign up to die for your country at 18, but you can't enjoy a couple beers.
Or a third option...you can drink at 18 with a military I.D.

There should be no drinking age! In Germany and other European countries there are no drinking problems because the kids grow up with alcohol. Also becoming drunk frowned upon severely in such countries. Drinking should be legalized for all people. Drink Responsibly!

First off, I'd like to start with for the last few years I've been deathly afraid of snakes. Until I came across your show and I like how you explain everything in detail about the snakes. I don't think I'm at the point where I could hold one but freaking out in the pet stores are no longer a problem. And Kel, I think the drinking age should be 18 here in the states because you are technically an adult according to law. Why not drink.

Forget about age there should be a test to see how someone acts when drinking and if they pass that person should get a drinking card that let's them drink. I'm a bartender and a bouncer I've seen older guys n girls in their 30's act like fools n immature and seen younger ppl from 17 up that act way more mature than a lot of older folk . Anyway that's my 2 cents by the way love those boas YESSIR !!!

The best drinking age is 18. I think this age is the best because when you are an adult your body is stronger and you have became more mature. When you are 15-16 you just dont think and i've seen many teenagers drinking a lot of strong alcohol drinks, until they are complitely drunk and start throwing up. Other teens have been to hospitals because they drunk too much, and others......HAVE DIED!!!....Before one week here in Greece a 15 year old girl died because she drunk too much. This is crazy.

personally i feel most 18yr olds are not mature enough or adult enough to handle drinking but the same can be said for a large chunck of the 21yr olds. but i do feel 18 should be the legal age just cause the military, cause if i am 18 and i am adult enough to make the choice to go to war and die for my country i should be able to sit down and have a beer in that same country i am willing to die for.

I think that 18 is a resonable drinking age but i live in the uk and what bugs me most of all is the fact that you can smoke at 16 legaly but you cant buy tobbacco until you are 18 so you have to break the law to be able to smoke at the age of 16 ? they should make both the same.

Hi Brian, great show as always !, i cannot understand why you struggle breeding your boa's, i have had 24,37,43 babies out of three matings of my Anery female and striped male, it's simple make sure female is just about overweight, and put male in at beginning of December --- but don't remove him !!!! until beginning of March. The reason for this is they couple & mate for approx 16 hours then seperate for 6 hours then the female instigates it all over again, this goes on for months if allowed

Nice episode I really like your new Boas!!! Here in Germany the alcohol laws are totaly stupid hard alc is alowed if you are 18 stuff like beer and beer mix is alowed if you are 16. Most of the clubs agree and don`t give alc to younger people but if a 14 years old guy wants alc he would get it. But that is not only here so if the money is right nobody is interested in your age.

i wish i lived in america over here in australia we have some cool animals, but you cant get any snakes from outside of the country like ball python or boas (if you hade a special licence maby but that isfar out of most peoples reach) so it would be great if you showed some australian snake morphs because like i said no outsider snakes allowed. :(

WHO CARES?! Drinking age doesnt matter because no one even follows the rules anymore =.= every year there are so many accidents because some dumb people mix drinking and driving! I think they've got it right in Europe. The drinking age should be 16, BUT the driving age should be 18. Automobiles are significantly more dangerous than alcohol. A young person should understand the effects of alcohol long before reaching for the steering wheel. If you're old enough to die for your country, you're old enough to celebrate survival with a beer.

I had to laugh, Kel said the legal drinking age in Canada is 19, that may be the case further east of where i live but it just happens to be 18 in Alberta. As far as drinking age it should be younger but the consequences for drinking and driving should not be a suspension of license but to be completely unable to drive ever. After all if they make the mistake to drink and drive, and get caught, they may not have killed someone but they could.
